hi everyone i have problem with my corrupted bios, i have tried bios from this forum and they not working either no respond to power on or lcd blank screen (lcd backlight is on tho), and i have tried flash from working laptop and result is ssd is not detected, i try ssd to another working laptop and it working no problem. so im attach my corrupted bios, please rebuild my bios. thanks.Comment

You're Welcome. First you got to lenovo website and download the bios image using your serial number. After that you should extract the FD file from the exe file using innoExtractor. Then you cut the bios region from the downloaded file, and replace it with your dump bios region using UEFitool or any hex editor. Next you should move your DMI from the dump file to the new one, then clean ME Region using a proper versions.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi Everyone,
I'm facing a problem with a locked bios with a password and i can't find how to remove it...
The small computer is only booting on a M2 ssd Windows partition and i get a "signed partition error" if i try to boot on the same SSD with another Os (linux for example).

I have a Lenovo Thinkbook 15 G2 ITL i5 Laptop (serial number: MP2BFZEF) that when I turn it on, the led on the power button lights up for 5 seconds, then goes out. There's no display and nothing happens.
So I thought it was a Bios problem.
I found 3 bios chips on the board, which I read with a bios programmer: two XMC model bios chips and a Winbond model bios chip. Each XMC model bios chip has two partitions named XM25QH128A [3.3V] and XT25F128A [3.3V]. And the Winbond model bios chip has three partitions named W25Q80BL 3.3V, W25Q80xV 3.3V and W25Q80DV 3.3V.... -

I'm using TONGFANG "GM7TG7P" model laptop for over 3 years and i'm entering the same bios administrator password everyday. My laptop has Aptio BIOS (American Megatrends, AMI).
But today it's not accepting my password. I'm %100 sure i'm entering the correct password.
I'm trying to reset my bios without success.
I tried :
-I removed the BIOS battery and main battery. Waited for a long time but it didn't work. They already stated in the user manual that the password will not be reset even if the batteries... -

Hello everyone.
I have L460 Type 20FV (2 X 8MB bios chips) with no boot issue after BIOS update (black screen with restarts, common issue on this model + BIOS update).
BIOS dump(s) from this post https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showpo...7&postcount=27 makes the laptop boot absolutely fine, no delays, etc..
But there is an exclamation mark in the device manager for the LAN card right after fresh OS installation - LAN naturally doesn't work. I saw requests like "BIOS: fix LAN" on other sites.
Could someone point on a direction...
