Hello. I need your help. Laptop DELL Latitude 3189, MB CAV00/CAV10 LA-E371P Rev:3.0(A02)
Express Service Code - 16489968798, Service Tag on the 7KPP1N2 case, there was a different Service Tag in the firmware, the BIOS chip is soldered, that is, the BIOS inside the SPI Flash is not native.
On loading it says - "Alert! TPM could not be initialized"
It was sold to me as a working one. I tried all the simple steps. Pulling out the cord, downgrading and upgrading the BIOS version, replacing the battery... I flashed the BIOS from this topic - Lat_3180_3189_1.17.0 TXE_CLEAN.BIN No changes.
You need a dump BIOS, which may be suitable in this case, or some useful advice.

I received the laptop with a non-native BIOS and without an SSD, so I don't have bios recovery. Inside the SPI Flash the firmware is now Lat_3180_3189_1.17.0 TXE_CLEAN.BIN
There is a backup of the firmware that was there before.

Sorry, I didn’t immediately understand what needed to be done. Lack of knowledge + lack of knowledge of the language, I thought that I needed a backup of the factory BIOS. Here is the BIOS Recovery file copied from the EFI partition. Service Tag 7KPP1N2 - factory, from the laptop cover, registered the first time it was turned on after the firmware.

For booting issue check boot options in bios settings, for tpm alert either upgrade the bios version or downgrade it, if still same issue then dump your bios and upload file here for repair

I have a similar problem. TPM error. BIOS reflashing did not help, tried several options. Try to enter Windows through the boot menu, pressing F12 during boot and selecting the Windows Boot Manager item. My laptop boots into Windows this way, it works fine, but until the first reboot, then you need to enter the F12 boot menu again.

I suspect you are trying to flash to the wrong chip. What part number is etched on top. You should always make a backup before trying to flash any other bios.

Dell Latitude 5400 Chromebook UEFI bios
                                          by jhanra
Hi there masters, recently i got a dell 5400 chromebook and wanted to install windows, i searched the internet and i found out other people also wanting a UEFI bios for this model, i searched there is a R/W legacy, but there are bugs like keyboard/trackpad not working, and hard to install.

so i decided to try to port one, this bios is based on dell 5400 windows version, i am testing this bios for a week now an found only a little to no bug at all in windows 10, or only a minor issue
in windows 11 sound driver compatibility, but overall its ok, for me i can deal with it, 😅😅😅...

                                          Hi

i have dell latitude E7270 with following symptoms:
                                          - takes long time to restart.
                                          - sometimes powers on and then off
                                          - sometimes while working it just dies,

From googling online bios clean could possible resolve this?

i was able to save bios and was going to try bios clean myself but get an below error when i drop it in ME analyzer.(unsure whether this sometimes occurs or could be due to bad/corrupt bios)

As ME analyzer gave me an error i just decided to write bios with a cleaned bios from E7270 bios post.
                                          I reinstall...
