Are you sure its corrupt or does the fault lie with your programmer and backup method. What model and software version is your programmer,have you desoldered the chip,are you using an adapter board.Have you soldered wires to the chip,are you using a pogo adapter .

I used a pogo adapter to back up,I guess that's where the problem came from, when I decided to write another file on it I kept getting the write error via pogo adapter,I then had to remove the chip from the board and use the adapter board.
Now I already write another file and there's no way I can get the original back up file again since the first one I used pogo adapter with is bad.
Is there a way you can help me build a new file without the backup because as it stand, there's no way I can get a good backup file again.Comment

I will help in future if you learn how to use a hex editor and look at the code to make sure the backup is good.You don`t need to know what the code means just that theres some code there, you can compare backups from this thread with yours.The file size after zipping the file is a fairly good indicator as well.
Post your service tag and someone can check the laptop configuration at dell support and tell you which bios in this thread to try

If you have "Code 10" problem most probably you are using a dump from another machine, to solve that replace ME region in this dump with the ME from your original dump, or just clean the ME Firmware:

Hello everyone.
I have come here with a rather specific question. I was given a Dell Latitude 7420 laptop with a busted screen, and wanted to see if I could refurbish it into my daily driver. I wanted to experiment and see if a 2-in-1 display would work as the chassis of the laptop and 2-in-1 7420 looked identical. I threw in the display and my hypothesis was correct, however, I was greeted with a locked BIOS and since I didn't know the password, I figured I'd try to unlock it somehow. I bought one of those POGO pin probe things for my CH341A programmer so I could read and make... -
Dell latitude 5580, motherboard cdp 80 la-e151p
3 amber 3 white blinks. Dell website sais it's problem "bios recovery" and suggested solution "recovery image not found"

Hi there masters, recently i got a dell 5400 chromebook and wanted to install windows, i searched the internet and i found out other people also wanting a UEFI bios for this model, i searched there is a R/W legacy, but there are bugs like keyboard/trackpad not working, and hard to install.
so i decided to try to port one, this bios is based on dell 5400 windows version, i am testing this bios for a week now an found only a little to no bug at all in windows 10, or only a minor issue
in windows 11 sound driver compatibility, but overall its ok, for me i can deal with it, π π π ... -
