Thread merged. The bios should not be 4MB ,choose the chip manually, don`t use autodetect. What is the chip part number, which programmer are you using and the software version .Comment

If you can`t answer all the questions then i can`t help. As i said the the bios should not be 4MB, so you`ve either got the wrong 4MB bios chip on the board or the programmer has wrongly detected the chip. Don`t use ALL CAPS in your reply please !Comment

by mikeybassHi, I hope some one has some advice for me. I searched the forums but didn't see anything relevant. I acquired two identical Dell 9010 Mid Tower computers from a business office upgrade (they were going to throw them out). Both of them have the same motherboard (00F82W). One of them works flawlessly. The other one had a corrupted BIOS. I tried flashing numerous main BIOS and EC files from the internet, but none of them worked. I decided to copy the main BIOS and EC from the working 9010 computer and successfully flashed the corrupted BIOS. This got the computer able to boot again and run norm...

by al3m0diUpdate bios EFCN58WW to EFCN59WW for solving The Connected AC adapter has a lower wattage than the recommended AC adapter
I have a Lenovo Legion 5 15imh05a device that I bought used online. It came with a 20V 8.5A 170W charger.
The BIOS version is EFCN58WW.
When I turn on the device, it displays the message:
"The Connected AC adapter has a lower wattage than the recommended AC adapter..."
The device rarely charges the battery, and even when it does, it doesn't show that it's charging.
I've tried

by ShadowtuySo I'm new here and have successfully unlocked a bios using "RCUnlocker" but after that I'm curious on recovery of a bricked bios from a bad flash/update in a case of NO BACKUP.
The part I'm stuck on is my HP backup are a 32,768KB and 16,384KB image compared to a fresh bios from HP at 23,690KB. How would I use the fresh image to repair a flash chip? The guide I'm following just takes the image and flashes it over but clearly there is more to it.
Just looking to expand my knowledge of this since the password removal worked great. Sorry if I missed this being...09-05-2023, 11:24 AM -
by trix11I have a Dell Precision T1650 MT workstation (of the following spec.) that was bricked yesterday when attempting to update the BIOS from A27 to A28 per:
- https://www.dell.com/support/home/en...-t1650/drivers > Dell Precision T1650 System BIOS
- Dell Precision T1650 mid tower Workstation
- Xeon E3-1225 V2
- 32Gb PC3-12800E RAM
- 4Tb SATA HDD
- motherboard: Dell part: 0C3YXR CN-0C3YXR-72200-39C-01GR-A02
I see now that others have experienced like issues e.g.:

Hi all
Anyone come across this issue where a BIOS flash will only part complete?
It will update the system BIOS and Primary EC BIOS fine but fails to update the Intel TBT Retimer, Intel TBT Retimer 2 and ME Firmware.
NVMe m.2 drive isnt detected in the BIOS, but you can get into the BIOS fine and it all works in there as intended.
The drive works fine in another laptop.
Link to a video I made of what its doing here:
Any ideas on how to overcome this?
Cheers... - Loading...
