HP 640 G4 BIOS Security Device Problem

Hello!, i've got Hp 640 g4 that recently had bios reflash by someone else due to having password and now when you turn it on after 30 seconds of black screen it posts with message: security device problem. I don't have original bios to flashback and just remove password. Does anyone know how to solve this bios problem? Also serial is different in bios than it is on the bottom cover so maybe that's the problem?

This error may be caused by incorrect DMI information, try using HP DMI Tool NBDmiFit to declare it again.

I tried few versions of NBDmiFit, i can boot to it, but can't unlock to MPM mode to change serial and etc. Any other way to change serial and UID please? Or how to unlock it to MPM mode?

Summary of BIOS Whitelist Removal Problem

          Problem:
I am attempting to remove the WWAN card whitelist from my Lenovo ThinkPad T560.
          Initial Findings:
          • My current BIOS version is N1KET58W (1.45).
          • I have a CH341A programmer and have successfully created two full backups of my BIOS.
          • I have the ability to use command-line tools on a Linux machine.
          Troubleshooting Steps & Conclusions:
          • I attempted to use several automated and manual patching methods on my N1KET58W (1.45) BIOS, including using hex strings. These attempts all failed.
          • I concluded that the

Problem with PANASONIC CF53 laptop after changing BIOS settings
          by AquaMan Ua
Hello. I am asking you for a hint on how to solve the problem with my touchbook Panasonic CF53-2 standart model. After setting up the BIOS, the laptop displays the wrong image until Windows loads. (More precisely, it displays, but distorted, instead of the Panasonic image immediately after turning it on, it displays what is in photo #1 in the attached file) Then the image appears when Windows starts loading and then there are no problems with the screen until the reboot. If you enter the BIOS, just a black screen. If you connect an external screen, the image on it is the same as on the built-in...

          🛠️ MSI GP75 Leopard MS-17E71 – No Display, Deep BIOS/EC Troubleshooting
          by macabook
          Hello everyone,

I’m currently working on a dead MSI GP75 Leopard (MS-17E71) motherboard (i7 CPU, NVIDIA GPU) with a no display/no backlight issue initially. After extensive investigation, I’m at a critical stage involving EC firmware, BIOS/ME region interaction, and possible deep corruption. I'm seeking advanced insight from anyone with experience in EC/BIOS sync issues or PCH-level behavior. Here’s a full breakdown:
          🧩 Initial Issue
          • Board powers on (fans spin, keyboard lights up and can be adjusted, caps lock led lights), but no display or backlight
          • External display (HDMI) shows

          Hi All,

          [Mother board model]
          V-VE212(U3E1)

          [Serial number]
          24000135PA

          [BIOS chip model]
          Macronix MX77L12850F

I am having some problems with the BIOS of my Versapro PC-VRT42FBFR22B.

I extracted the BIOS file (versapro001.bin 16MB) from PC-VRT42FBFR22B ROM (MX77L12850F) using CH341A and NeoProgrammer V2.2.0.10, but I don't know how to remove the BIOS password, so I can't open the BIOS even if I boot with F2.

I also downloaded the BIOS update package (933A0400.zip) for PC-VRT42FBFR22B from the official...

The laptop was working fine, the only problem was that when I turned it on, the screen was hard to turn on, it would wait for about 30-40 seconds before an image appeared on the screen.
Initially, I updated from windows to Intel Management Engine 11.8 Firmware, restarted, everything was fine.
Then I updated the bios, also from windows, to the last vs, vs 46. It restarted, those lines with bios update progress appeared, restarted and that's it, since then...
