do not use the clip, you may have errors..if you do not have anything to unsolder it with,
solder wires between the programmer and the bios chip..

here is a video for example..https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DWWi...nnel=ThisIsHow
Thats exactly what i tryed to avoid. my solder-skills are really not good. i´d love to use the clip.

maybe this thread is not the correct one, but i am desperate. There was the BIOS Pending to install, but i had no Battery, so it couldn´t flash it. Then I received the Battery I purchased and i plugged it on (but maybe not good enough). Then the System booted. No sign of flashing yet, and i plugged the powercord off, cause i wanted to empty the battery before charching cause it was new. But as the battery was not plugged in well, it shut off immediately. Since then, no sign of life. Absolutely dead machine

I hope i can get support here and someone can help me to get that machine to life again. I cannot send a dump because i do not know which kind of chip to choose

I purchased the CH341 programmer and hope to get this problem solved

    Please HELP
I wanted to change serial number on the laptop but then the laptop doesn't display anymore after bios reprogram , I have tried every clean bios from this thread, but the unit complains about corrupt bios (3 amber and 6 white light flash ) and just simply doesn't want to display, I have been trying for 3 days from page 1 until the last page and still no display with every bios file I try.
I eventually gave up and restored the original BIOS file and now there's no power no sign of life. PLEASE HELP.

Dell Pro 13 Plus PB13250 Bios Unlock
    by Akhlz001
    Hi,

Could someone help trying to unlock this BIOS, seems that Dell have changed the layout of new Dell Pro 8FC8 bioses from checking HXD - 4000 bits do not need changing, only 2000. However after FF the section starting from '01000' upto 2000 bits and then soldering the chip back it seems that the microchip on the motherboard is recovering the bios back to original settings after first boot. Has anyone found a way to crack this extra layer of security Dell have implemented? Seems both HP and Dell have upped bios security to match Lenovo by implementing extra measures on a separate...

I try plugging charger while pressing ctrl+esc, machine turns on, nothing and after 20 seconds it gives 3 amber 3 white blinks again.

Since ssd is replaced and had clean install windows, i've...

Dell Latitude 7420 BIOS Unlock Gone Wrong
    by Jeff'sTech
    Hello everyone.

I have come here with a rather specific question. I was given a Dell Latitude 7420 laptop with a busted screen, and wanted to see if I could refurbish it into my daily driver. I wanted to experiment and see if a 2-in-1 display would work as the chassis of the laptop and 2-in-1 7420 looked identical. I threw in the display and my hypothesis was correct, however, I was greeted with a locked BIOS and since I didn't know the password, I figured I'd try to unlock it somehow. I bought one of those POGO pin probe things for my CH341A programmer so I could read and make...

Dell Latitude 5400 Chromebook UEFI bios
    by jhanra
Hi there masters, recently i got a dell 5400 chromebook and wanted to install windows, i searched the internet and i found out other people also wanting a UEFI bios for this model, i searched there is a R/W legacy, but there are bugs like keyboard/trackpad not working, and hard to install.

so i decided to try to port one, this bios is based on dell 5400 windows version, i am testing this bios for a week now an found only a little to no bug at all in windows 10, or only a minor issue
in windows 11 sound driver compatibility, but overall its ok, for me i can deal with it, 😅😅😅...
