Hi
need help ,
My hP omen laptop ax236tx model has stopped working . No display only capslock blinking 5 long 3 short. I have checked ram and reset cmos and did every thing which links with this code, flashed bios chip using soic8 clip adapter and SPI programmer using help from this forum.
Can someone check my bios file what is wrong with this file, do it needed to unclock or not. i retrieved this file from my laptop bios chip Gigadevice GD25B64CS1G

Sorry , It will never happen again But my concern was does my laptop model will get benefit from HP bios unlocker or no need of it

The HP BIOS unlock tool is a bios password unlocker,it will only remove bios passwords for certain HP models,not pavilions,not omen models either.This tool will not help with a black screen issue.Comment

Haven't had an issue with surestart yet.
You should factory reset settings and security settings after restart. This should make it like it was never locked before.Comment

Ok, good to know. My 645 G4 have both Surestart and BIOS password enabled.
I was worried because Sure Start is supposed to restore the BIOS (I guess copied from the other chip) if certain conditions are met.Comment

Hi 8470p (3rd gen) issues. Winbond 25Q128 16legs chip.
When i use tool and put new dump i have black screen, no power at all.
Rollback and working fine so dump is ok. Any ideas? Ive got only problem on two this models.Comment

Need Clean BIOS/EC Bin File for Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga 11e - Stuck with 0275 Error CMS
Hello everyone,
I am attempting a repair on a Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga 11e that is currently stuck at boot with the error: "0275 error CMS" even after setup new bios battery and will not allow me to enter the BIOS/Setup.
This is a critical issue that I believe requires flashing the BIOS chip directly using a programmer (e.g., CH341A/RT809H), as standard software updates or resets are not possible.

Hello, I have an old Dell G3 3579 (ST: 2WQ7LP2-8FC8) with a newer 8FC8 BIOS password. I have successfully attached to the flash chip (W25Q128JVSQ) on the motherboard with a CH341A programmer and made several modifications using Intel FIT (e.g., allow software SPI write) without bricking. I was also able to boot to a modified GRUB shell where I attempted to edit many BIOS security related options like BIOS Guard/Lock, Flash Signature Override, ME FW Image Re-Flash, etc.
Unfortunately, some of these modifications like to Intel BIOS Guard failed because it is fused into the PCH. Also,... -
Hi all,
My Samsung Galaxy Book 2 Pro 15.6-inch laptop has no display and won't boot.
The charging red LED lights up, but the charging screen doesn't show any indication.
When I press the power button, the blue LED cycles on and off three times, then the screen doesn't turn on, and the device won't boot.
(I've tried removing the battery and resetting the device, but the issue persists.)

I noticed on the Xgpro software the BIOS backup files have extra bytes at the end when reading some chips, this is because the Xgpro software also reads the OTP region of those flash chips, and by default will append that region to the saved file
Programmer models: XGecu TL866II Plus / T48 / T56 / T76
Example: GD25LQ128D (1.8V), IC size is listed as 0x1000000 Bytes (16777216 bytes) + 0xC00 bytes, those extra 0xC00 bytes will be appended to the end of the saved file by default, resulting in a file size of 16780288 bytes
