I have a Surface Pro 6, and the UEFI is locked with a password, which the seller didn't give me. (My battery is limited and won't charge more than 50%)
Can you help me unlock it?

"Backup bios" is the content of the bios chip in your computer, it is a password-protected version, to get it you must use a hardware device called a programmer. There are many programmer brands but the cheapest (cheapest does not mean the best) is CH341A.

Hi, I have a Surface Pro 6 1796 with a password locked Bios. I have dumped the original BIOS, but I can't find a clean bios in order to swap the Bios Region. Can you help me Cleaning the Bios password in my dump? BIOS CHIP: W25Q128JVPQ

Thank you so much, and sorry if I'm still bothering you. I read the post you linked, but I still haven’t figured out how to fix the issue. I don’t have a clean ME region—should I use my original dump and replace its ME region with the one you cleaned?
Also, I noticed that in my original dump, Integrated Sensor Hub Supported is set to NO, while in the cleaned dump you sent me, it’s set to YES. Is that the part I should correct?

Hi Everyone,
I'm facing a problem with a locked bios with a password and i can't find how to remove it...
The small computer is only booting on a M2 ssd Windows partition and i get a "signed partition error" if i try to boot on the same SSD with another Os (linux for example).

Hi everyone,
I'm working on removing an administrative BIOS lock (Supervisor/Admin Password) on a laptop.
The board has three SPI flash chips:
- W25Q64FV (main BIOS)
- W25Q32FV (EC/TPM)
- W25X10CL (configuration)
I was able to read the dump from the W25Q64FV chip, CRC32 = 0x3DE23E27.
The dump contains protection that needs to be removed.
If anyone has a clean or unlocked BIOS dump for W25Q64FV, I’d really appreciate it!
I’m also happy to share my dump for comparison if needed.

Hi all,
This is my first post here (I am very new to forums!) and I hope someone can help. I am looking for a full dump of the BIOS of a HP Proliant Microserver Gen 8 so that I can get this mini server running again. (BIOS version J06 2019-04-04, chip 25Q064A). I think my board was partially bricked after a failed BIOS update.
I got it second hand in this state and all the normal attempts at bios restoration have not worked. I have even desoldered the chip and tried to load the actual BIOS from HP, but it is missing some parts needed to boot the system.

I'm using TONGFANG "GM7TG7P" model laptop for over 3 years and i'm entering the same bios administrator password everyday. My laptop has Aptio BIOS (American Megatrends, AMI).
But today it's not accepting my password. I'm %100 sure i'm entering the correct password.
I'm trying to reset my bios without success.
I tried :
-I removed the BIOS battery and main battery. Waited for a long time but it didn't work. They already stated in the user manual that the password will not be reset even if the batteries... -
Hey guys, I have an "ASUS TUF Gaming A15 FA506NF (2021)" that's locked with a UEFI password, I need to reprogram the BIOS chip but can't find a clean ".bin" file for this specific model, I've tried the official BIOS updates from ASUS support page, but they're 32MB updaters that don't extract to a usable 2MB .bin file for direct chip programming.
What I currently have available:
- Model: FA506NF (2021)
- BIOS chip: GD25LQ16 (16Mbit/2MB)
- Tools: CH341A programmer ready to use
Does anyone have either a clean 2MB .bin dump of this model,...
