Thank you for your helpbut I don't think it's your file which got problem because I have realised that when I power on the laptop there is no display and after a while it will start blinking 6 white and 3 amber blinks to show bios problem and then start the screen test sequence. So after I tried your patched file I also changed the bios and it did the same and then I put back the original file and still it's doing the same. I have checked if maybe I knocked some resistor and soldering but all looks fine. So I was thinking if you could help make a clean bios file from my bios file and try again. ThanksComment

I am trying clean me file but it's still doing what I mensioned above, so I believe I might need to reconstruct the bios from exe file but I am unable to do it so I need help to do that from good people of this forum.The laptop is Dell Latitude 3520 Service Tag 1P2YGL3, mainboard 213047-1 Cyborg L15 MB TGL.Comment

Thank you Rex but it's not displaying no fan spin, when I put charger the laptop comes on and after some seconds it goes off if you try to press the power button it does not respond but when I remove charger and put back it does the same again, no display no backlightComment

I need help removing/unlocking the BIOS Service Tag password on my Dell Latitude 5520 laptop.
Problem details:
* Model: Dell Latitude 5520.
* Board ID (from BIOS file): TGL MB 8L 19819-1 (Southpeak15).
* Required Password Code: 3FE2 (BIOS Service Tag Lockout Code).
* Service Tag: (Enter your actual Service Tag from the laptop here)
* BIOS Status: I successfully modded the BIOS file and created FINAL_CLEANED_ME.bin (32MB) with a clean ME region (CSME 15.0), because the original dump was corrupt.... -

Could someone help trying to unlock this BIOS, seems that Dell have changed the layout of new Dell Pro 8FC8 bioses from checking HXD - 4000 bits do not need changing, only 2000. However after FF the section starting from '01000' upto 2000 bits and then soldering the chip back it seems that the microchip on the motherboard is recovering the bios back to original settings after first boot. Has anyone found a way to crack this extra layer of security Dell have implemented? Seems both HP and Dell have upped bios security to match Lenovo by implementing extra measures on a separate... -

3 amber 3 white blinks. Dell website sais it's problem "bios recovery" and suggested solution "recovery image not found"

I try plugging charger while pressing ctrl+esc, machine turns on, nothing and after 20 seconds it gives 3 amber 3 white blinks again.

I have come here with a rather specific question. I was given a Dell Latitude 7420 laptop with a busted screen, and wanted to see if I could refurbish it into my daily driver. I wanted to experiment and see if a 2-in-1 display would work as the chassis of the laptop and 2-in-1 7420 looked identical.
