Hi folks,

Im having the same problem, and just downloaded few BIOS files from this thread.

Except, i am unable to read the BIOS chip with my CH341a clips.

I wonder how others managed to read the chip. Which cable did you guys use?

I tried to unsolder and solder it to the CH341a, but the BIOS chip has a ground pad in the middle, which is making contact with the pins in CH341a.

Any help is appriciated,

Buy a WSON8 adapter, or as a workaround put some tape over the ground pad

Issue: Dell logo only, reboots on battery, CPU gets hot and shuts off after about 35 seconds when charger plugged in, fans don't spin. If power button is pressed when charger is plugged in, fans spin, Dell logo apprears and powers off after about 6 seconds. Tried downloaded BIOS dump and got 3,6 blink pattern (System bios flash incomplete). Customer said they got 2,8 blink pattern (LCD power rail failure)
