Try the bios at post #2 ,copy your DMI (serial number etc) from your old bios to the new one using a hex editor, the off-sets are at post #3

There is a guide for a different bios, but it covers all the bases of simple hex editing. Once youve done that you should have no problem with your bios once you understand what the offsets are, its just copying from one region and pasting over the same region in another file.

If you can`t do it let us know,i`ll post a macro script to do it automatically.

Need Clean/Virgin Bios for Lenovo Legion 15-IMH05

I need a clean bios to flash to the bios chip.

              Serial Number:PF2AY437
              Machine Type Model:82AU0031MH
              Legion 5-15IMH05

Unfortanetely i dont have any old bios dump beceause someone wiped the bios chip. Laptop doesnt turn on right now so if someone can help me out with a clean bios.

What i understand is you need DMI for Windows activation purposes. What only matters is that if the laptop turns on normally it will be fine.

Hope you guys can help me out.

It's not a BIOS issue, your GPU core is dead.

Try connecting external display through HDMI and disconnect eDP connector, if it's routed through the CPU and not the GPU directly, you'll be able to enter BIOS and set the graphics to UMA only.

Usually I would replace the dead GPU chip, but Lenovo is a menace and uses black underfill glue that ruins the board when trying to desolder the BGA chips. It's possible to get the glue debonded but it's not worth the effort, better to run that board in UMA or just replace it.

I think I have a dead GPU on the board (reading 0 ohm)
Is there a way to deactivate the GPU so I can rely on the iGPU to power up the laptop?
I ve already lifted the 3 coils feeding the GPU, isn't that enough?
Right now the laptop starts then shutdown.

Never mind, just found that the cpu is shorted too, I didn't have a proper ground and got a wrong reading on the cpu.
