I am having trouble decrypting the bios executable bin. I managed to get the bin but it is too big and nowhere looks like a bios. There are no identifing labels on the laptop bottom, I am taking my guess from the Bios dump and model on the touchscreen. Inside original bios are: C2M73UA#ABA and BID 01886.F12. Motherboard is labeled as LA-8551P and 700814-501. Symptoms are no video output, lighted keyboard keys (has backlight), keys beep when pressed, esc key does not, battery charging light is orange for a few seconds, turns white later. Mobo has onboard RAM chips, and uses DDR3L single RAM slot. Consumes ~35mA when connected to bench power supply, goes upt to 695mA when power button pressed. Video card chip gets hot, fan turns on after a few minutes.
I have cleaned the ME region, same symptoms. Downloaded the BIOS executable from HP update, managed to extract a bin but I ran into trouble.
Could someone either guide me, decrypt said bin or fix my bios dump, I would greatly appreciate it.
