Machine is not in committed state

    Hello!

Many times I get an HP laptop that needs a new BIOS to flash. I usually find BIOS dump (with Clean ME) files on this forum. If I enter the data (serial, sku number, etc ..) with wndmifit and lock the mpm, the laptop is usually good.
But on some laptops (for example Folio 9470M - 6050a2514101-mb-a02) I get a red error message at boot time that says "Machine is not in committed state".

How can I solve this error?

If HP Unlocker does not clear the password from the BIOS dump, what is the solution?
I realized that if I delete the VSS store, I can enter the data with wndmifit and there will be no password. This helps in many cases, but here again the "Machine is not in committed state" error message may remain.

Cleaning the ME region sometimes works to clear that error.

When I get a laptop that needs a new bios and I download one from here with cleared me, this error still occurs.
