HP 650 G1 - machine not in committed state

    I have an HP 650 G1
Motherboard was changed but I do not have backup of old BIOS

I get "machine not in committed state" when laptop starts
CPU is over heating. I do not know if related.

Tried BIOS from below link. Laptop do not boot.
    https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showpo...00&postcount=7

I get "MPM is not unlocked", when using "HP Manufacture Programming MPM Unlock tool down"

See attached BIOS, CT from new board and serial number of laptop

Can someone please update the BIOS and send me?

    Thanks

Recovered 850 G1 Bios now the warning machine not in committed state
        by Ginjaninja
Hi all just wondering if anyone can help?

i have just recovered my bios after i screwed it up after trying to take a dump of my bios with a clip and a programmer to get around the bios password on one of my old work laptops (HP Elitebook 850 G1).

since the recovery i have been left with the PC now booting up but now i get the warning the machine is not in a commited state and the laptop swithes itself of after about 30 minutes, which i believe is to do with a missing intel management engine.

if anyone can shed any light on wither of these problems,...

HP 650 G1 (Your machine is not in committed state)
        by suny99
I have HP 650 G1 which was bricked.

        Bricked file is attached: backup.zip

Using CH431A I was successful in flashing .bin that I have found here on forum
        (file attached PROBOOK 650G1.zip)

But the problem was that there was error message:
Your machine is not in committed state

After that white screen with listed items:
        Product name
        Product serial number
        Product SKU
        Product family
        CT number

Using MPM tool I was able to add all of the listed items (Can't say I'm sure that I did...

Lenovo Thinkbook 15 G2 ITL i5 (serial number: MP2BFZEF) bios request
        by Wahaz
        Hello,

I have a Lenovo Thinkbook 15 G2 ITL i5 Laptop (serial number: MP2BFZEF) that when I turn it on, the led on the power button lights up for 5 seconds, then goes out. There's no display and nothing happens.
So I thought it was a Bios problem.
I found 3 bios chips on the board, which I read with a bios programmer: two XMC model bios chips and a Winbond model bios chip. Each XMC model bios chip has two partitions named XM25QH128A [3.3V] and XT25F128A [3.3V]. And the Winbond model bios chip has three partitions named W25Q80BL 3.3V, W25Q80xV 3.3V and W25Q80DV 3.3V....

        by traxformania
        Hello,

I'm using TONGFANG "GM7TG7P" model laptop for over 3 years and i'm entering the same bios administrator password everyday. My laptop has Aptio BIOS (American Megatrends, AMI).

But today it's not accepting my password. I'm %100 sure i'm entering the correct password.

I'm trying to reset my bios without success.

        I tried :

-I removed the BIOS battery and main battery. Waited for a long time but it didn't work. They already stated in the user manual that the password will not be reset even if the batteries...
