hey! I'm trying to repair my x1 yoga gen 4, some component on the keyboard side of the board blew and I'm trying to figure out what it was. I can't find a board view, but if you have any pictures of the other (non-CPU) side of the board that would help me a TON. Thanks!Comment

Hello,
I have a X1 Yoga 2nd Generation with a BIOS password. I read the BIOS chip and patched it with the autopatcher. After I flashed the chip, the laptop is not booting anymore. Even I flash the original BIOS back, it is still not booting.
What can be the reason? I attached the original and patched files. I'll be very thankful if anyone can help.

have a laptop here that has a supervisor Password (dump in Attachements).
Before i write the Serial NR.etc i wanted to say that strangely after flashing with 3 different Bios dumps and one from lenovos site
the laptop works but everytime it wants me to type a supervisor password i never set.
I thought the supervisor password is stuck in the ec bios but no it isn't either because after replacing the ec chip from one of another board it still has the supervisor password.
Anyway i wanted to ask what of the two chips is the ec bios because on the left... -

I'm encountering an issue with my Lenovo X1 Yoga 5th Gen laptop related to the BIOS supervisor password. I'm seeking assistance and guidance from the knowledgeable members of this community in resolving this problem.
I am no expert and cannot perform soldering or unsoldering of the chip from the board. Therefore, I attempted to use an EZP 2023 programmer with a clip to extract the BIOS bin file without removing the BIOS chip from the motherboard. Hello everyone, I come here to tell you my problem regarding the power-on password. It is not a bios reset demand, and i can't have any access to windows. This is the bios and power-on password that is blocking all other things.
My Omen 15-dh0052nf purchased second-hand was configured with the bios password upon purchase (very simple password :P ).
Having decided to sell it in order to get something more powerful, I reset all BIOS settings and set a blank administrator password. But the power-on password cannot be changed to a blank one so I let the actual password set....
