Re: LENOVO BIOS AUTO-PATCHER for Supervisor Password Removal
Lenovo twist s203u
Nothing should be read from U32 (p24s08).
It must be shortened between pins 5 and 6 exactly when you turn it on.
press f1 for the bios, enter the bios, take the tip of the screwdriver (in my case) you go to security change the password, F10 for saving that's about it.Comment

Re: LENOVO BIOS AUTO-PATCHER for Supervisor Password Removal
So short update from me: managed to patch the bios. in my case the problem was that I had to versions of Python, 2 and 3, installed. So i had first to uninstall python2 and after to modify autopatcher.py file and manually change from python to python3 (i am using ubuntu 20.04) and after that the process went straightforward.
So I can confirm that the patch works in Lenovo Thinkpad t460p.
thanks to all who made it possible!

Re: LENOVO BIOS AUTO-PATCHER for Supervisor Password Removal
Hi Experts,
I've tried this but my Lenovo X270 is bricked after applying the pathed version?
What I did :
1) I used CH341A mini USB programmer to take a BIOS back up
2) Took second back up and compared with the first one to make sure they match and for peace of mind that I have a good bios backup
3) Used 'lenovo_autopatcher_0.2' to patch the backed up version and successfully got a patched.bin file.
4) Cleared the Bios chip with CH341A mini USB programmer and flashed/programmed the patched.bin file on to bios chip. (My bios chip was a "MXIC-MX-25L12873F-M2I-10G" 16MB bin file, also verified that the backup and patched files are around the same size 16 MB)
5) Tried turning on but wouldn't start (tried unplugging & re-connecting CMOS battery and internal battery, also tried the reset pinhole at the back of the laptop near battery). Nothing seems to start the laptop, no beeps nothing...
Any suggestions where I could have gone wrong?
P.S (attaching my bios backup and patched version, just in case if that helps anyone answer this question)
ThanksLast edited by SMDFlea; 03-25-2023, 11:57 AM.Comment

by macabookHello everyone,
I’m currently working on a dead MSI GP75 Leopard (MS-17E71) motherboard (i7 CPU, NVIDIA GPU) with a no display/no backlight issue initially. After extensive investigation, I’m at a critical stage involving EC firmware, BIOS/ME region interaction, and possible deep corruption. I'm seeking advanced insight from anyone with experience in EC/BIOS sync issues or PCH-level behavior. Here’s a full breakdown:
🧩 Initial Issue- Board powers on (fans spin, keyboard lights up and can be adjusted, caps lock led lights), but no display or backlight

by cr4zychrissHello everyone,
I am requesting urgent assistance to unbrick my laptop, a rebranded TongFang GK7MRFR chassis. The laptop is completely dead following a faulty in-OS EC flash attempt.
I have successfully used a CH341A programmer and can read/write/verify both flash chips, but using my backups/extractions has failed to restore power. The root cause is likely a corrupted Intel Management Engine (ME) region or an incompatible EC/BIOS pairing. System & Hardware Details- Barebone / Chassis: TongFang GK7MRFR

by TopPopSorry for the long story. I have a Dell Latitude 5530 (i7) laptop (South Peak 15 MLK MB DDR4 203102-1 FK8VG$JA) with an admin BIOS password that I want to remove. Service Tag: HYKFPT3. Other than that the laptop worked OK.
I found a CH341A Black and went looking for the BIOS chip on the motherboard. After trying to read one chip that was a firmware chip but not the BIOS I think I found the BIOS chip labeled Winbond 25Q256JVEN. Altogether I think I found 4 different firmware chips in the laptop. The BIOS chip is a WSON8 6x8. I used the CH341A, NeoProgrammer, and a cheap pogo pin clip... -
by piratiHello everyone,
I recently bought a non-working Asus Zenbook Pro Duo OLED UX8402ZA that was listed for parts only. The seller mentioned that it had no display output but that the charging lights worked.
When the laptop arrived (without a charger and SSD), I connected a charger and confirmed with a multimeter that it was charging the battery. However, when I tried to power it on, only the backlight of the secondary display came on. There was no image, and it didn’t boot into the BIOS.
I decided to try flashing a new BIOS, but since I didn’t want to desolder...-

Hello everyone,
I have a Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3 16IAH7. When the device first arrived, there was no display at all.
I had the BIOS cleaned, but the issue was not resolved and there was still no image.
Later, I flashed a different BIOS dump from the same model. With this BIOS, the device boots and display works, but the GPU is not detected in the BIOS (RTX 3060 is missing).
After that, I tried to update the...-
