Hello friends, I have this Lenovo Z40 70 without display, I found a bios here and it works but it does not recognize wireless cards, it only recognizes bluetooth, but I have already fitted several cards and do not recognize any, can it be a problem with the bios or can it be damaged before? Attached original file without display and file that boots and found on this site.

Re: Help please lenovo z40 70
you posted two bios of different lengths, remove the bios chip from the motherboard before writing or reading. I posted two bios, one extras from the Lenovo website and another Clean Me to your original. I hope it helps.Attached Filesif you find these attachements useful please consider making a small donation to the site

Re: Help please lenovo z40 70
The bios has a "Whitelist" ,it will only use certain lenovo wireless cards, you can`t use any card you want unless the bios is modified.See this thread on bios-mods -

If friend I installed the power manager but the problem continues, I also tried the fire1234 file without whitelist, I was wrong to specify the model of the equipment is a G40-70 but the files you used are all from g40-70 I have doubts with the first dump since it is 16mb the original dump, all the others you tried are 8mb and none of them recognize the serial number or the name of the product, do you think that is the problem?Attached Filesif you find these attachements useful please consider making a small donation to the site

Re: Help please lenovo z40 70
Bios to G40-70, white list disabled, serial numbers and windows key copied. The bios should have 8mb, I have never met in this model that the bios had 16mb.Thanks fire1234, for your work but the problem continues .... Ok, friend, thank you very much, I appreciate your help, I have tried your file, but the wifi problem persists now if the serial numbers and the product name appear, but apparently it is a problem on the motherboard, regarding the biography of 16mb I already found what is the problem, I did a reading in the programmer software without selecting the correct chip, and I take a chip of different size and that's why a 16mb file was created you are correct this bios is 8mbn chip, Again, thank you very much.Comment

Summary of BIOS Whitelist Removal Problem
Problem:
I am attempting to remove the WWAN card whitelist from my Lenovo ThinkPad T560.
Initial Findings:- My current BIOS version is N1KET58W (1.45).
- I have a CH341A programmer and have successfully created two full backups of my BIOS.
- I have the ability to use command-line tools on a Linux machine.
- I attempted to use several automated and manual patching methods on my N1KET58W (1.45) BIOS, including using hex strings. These attempts all failed.
- I concluded that the

by WahazHello,
I have a Lenovo Thinkbook 15 G2 ITL i5 Laptop (serial number: MP2BFZEF) that when I turn it on, the led on the power button lights up for 5 seconds, then goes out. There's no display and nothing happens.
So I thought it was a Bios problem.
I found 3 bios chips on the board, which I read with a bios programmer: two XMC model bios chips and a Winbond model bios chip. Each XMC model bios chip has two partitions named XM25QH128A [3.3V] and XT25F128A [3.3V]. And the Winbond model bios chip has three partitions named W25Q80BL 3.3V, W25Q80xV 3.3V and W25Q80DV 3.3V....-

by grimacelordHello there.
I am working on a Lenovo Legion T5-26AMR5 desktop that currently has a corrupt BIOS and I have been unsuccessful thus far in trying to fix it myself.
History:
1. This computer came to me initially with an error message that said "BiInitializeLibrary failed 0xc0000001" or "0135 fan error". It would always be one of the two errors. It should be noted that when it produced the fan error, there was no physical problem with the fans. They were all spinning just fine.
I searched for this error online and discovered...-

by to5it0Need Clean BIOS/EC Bin File for Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga 11e - Stuck with 0275 Error CMS
Hello everyone,
I am attempting a repair on a Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga 11e that is currently stuck at boot with the error: "0275 error CMS" even after setup new bios battery and will not allow me to enter the BIOS/Setup.
This is a critical issue that I believe requires flashing the BIOS chip directly using a programmer (e.g., CH341A/RT809H), as standard software updates or resets are not possible.
I have opened the laptop and identified the main BIOS chip...2 Photos-

by mkdjDear all,
I have recently fixed a Lenovo IdeaPad 3 15 ALC6 that was not booting due to a BIOS issue. After flashing the BIOS, the laptop boots up, but hard disk is not recognized in BIOS. Is says "Hard Disk : Not Installed". I have tried with 2 different drives (one that I know is working on another laptop) but I get the same result. I do not know if disks were recognized before I got the laptop and fix it, but I don't see any reason why not. I can boot on USB though.
Here the steps I have taken to fix the laptop:
- downloaded latest BIOS from Lenovo Website... - Loading...
- No more items.
