Hello. K401UQK has a password-protected BIOS on the model in question. I downloaded a BIOS file from Asus, deleted the first 800, and took the 200000 partition from the old BIOS. The password is gone, and the computer boots up. However, I'm not entirely sure where the DMI partition is located. Also, if I transfer the DMI file, will the password come back?

Hi and No the password will not come back if you transfer back your DMI
You can post your BIOS file to unlock instead (But also Post the Serial Number)

Thanks. Great, no password needed. Also, Windows was installed in CSM mode and wouldn't start. But now it starts. DMI transfer solved the problem in Windows.

What couldn't you decode I don't understand the passwords were 123455 and 12345
Anyway here they are in case someone wants to use your BIOS dump to fix their machine later on (since this is a community)

That's what I couldn't figure out: 123455 and 12345. / I know the BIOS file is usable. We use it too. But in these cases, do the serial and MAC addresses cause any conflicts or problems? Could you provide some information?

Well You said you already transferred your DMI so it should work fine
But if anything seems off you can always revert back to your original BIOS file
