I have an 8fc8 with a locked bios that I cant even access the OS that I installed.

yes, the only way to read the bios chip is to use an SPI programmer..more information can be found on the net ..

Just trying to understand - what's the process for patching this BIOS? Do you just need to remove the ME section or is it more involved?
