Hello
Can somebody with more deep knowledge here take this Original Bios and this Patched Bios for Lenovo Yoga X380, from Allservice so that you make a properly working unlocked version for all Lenovo X380 Yoga series?
It is 20LJ-SX380 model.
I have paid for this service somewhere and unlocked that laptop, but after some time the same laptop came to me again now with BIOS password. I think that some fuckers put a new password because it couldn't be relocked itself ? Can somebody clarify this ? If it can be relocked itself ?

Hi! I backup my T460s BIOS and wrote the T460s BIOS rom in the 1# post.
But when I power on my T460s (without batteries), it stops at the 'Lenove' login and no more response.
Attachment is the BIOS rom loaded from my laptop. Could you help to patch it?

Press F1 while Lenovo logo shows, and follow the steps, SVP is removed now.

hi, i have 3 lenovo t450 i write pach unlock file and unlock done smoothly , but in one case when i write pach there was no display , so i put locked hdd , then i got unlock scrren then put key id 1st part done , now when i write original file then again no display so i put locked hdd and start but i am confuse when i see there is same unlock instruction ask on screen how its possible when i write original file it should be on normal screen

can any one light on this problem

Successfully patched SVP in Lenovo W540.
You need to flash only 32 Mb chip.

I patched this W451 and worked on my laptop.
Feel free to try it on yours. First password prompt is 1234 after that leave the next one blank and space bar twice when asked.
Follow instruction on this thread.

It *MIGHT* also work on W540/T540p but I have not tested it.

Make sure you triple-back up your BIOS before attempting to flash this one and let me know if it helped.

Also I've read on another page that if you swap the MEC1663 Chip with a brand new one, the BIOS Chip writes in it all the information required about SN, MAC, Model, etc. Again, haven't tested it. Also, as a fact, if you change the serial number on T4xx models, it screws with Computrace if it's activated and the laptop won't be remote locked.

I think you cand read and clear MEC 16xx chip. I want to test it, but I don't know the pinout and I don't want to desolder the BGA chip. I read on another subject on this forum that someone tried this and removed the password but also removed serial number, mac address and whatever info there is in the MEC Chip. But I think you can write it back with some lenovo utility. I have one that works on T420, I don't know about other Lenovo models.
