if you are not sure about your backup file post it here and wait for an answer before acting because CH341A is a programmer with poor reliability.Last edited by hoaca388; 05-27-2022, 06:32 AM.If you have found our forum useful please consider supporting us. Re: hp 840 g6 6050A3022501-MB-A01
use nbdmifit to close MPM, search for youtube videos how to do it . Most of the red error messages can be dealt with by using nbdmifit/HP Bios Config Utility . You do not need to ask for or flash another bios for those type of messages

by Name28I have NEC PC-VKT16GZG6 laptop with a BIOS/supervisor password.
It uses a Winbond 25Q128JVSQ 2021 BIOS chip, from which I successfully saved a backup using the NeoProgrammer tool. I created two backups and checked both with HxD—they were identical.
Could you please help me remove or reset the password?
The “LENOVO BIOS AUTO-PATCHER for Supervisor Password Removal” tool returns the following error:
“Backup1.bin is corrupted or does not contain a valid dump.”
DMI System Serial Number: 12007211A
DMI Motherboard Serial Number: K9NK050417...-

by justice171Hi BadCaps team,
I’m asking for a bit of community help with a Proline notebook that’s stuck with a Power-ON (BIOS) password. The laptop has very limited info available and I suspect it may be a local (South African) Proline board. Thought I’d check here in case anyone has seen this one before.
What I have:- Model: Proline NoteBook V146GNK
- Board: SU_GN100_MB_V12_20231120A
- Serial: GN10Q12124205W1588
- Notes: 12V main board. Very little documentation available.
What I’d like to request:- Has anyone dealt with this Proline board before or seen matching BIOS/firmware
