From what I saw there is one byte more in my file. I want to flash again with the old bios file, shall I remove the last byte?Comment

i dont know if its the chip or the bios. but laptop turns on with cmos error message for few seconds. then does not turn on again until i clear cmos. this is my backup belowComment

sorry for late reply. is it possible for a chip to get damaged/corrupted. innitially when i read the chip. it shows an mxic 16mb chip. but now when i read the chip, my programmer says unknown chip. now i cant even write on the chip anymore. so i flashed both my backup and the one you sent me on another 16mb chip(took it from another hp motherboard). now the laptop doesnt even power on again. is it possible that the laptop can only work with its own chip?Comment

The Samsung S49CG934SU monitor does not power on - no LED indicator activity and no response to power button. However, when 21V power is connected, it immediately draws 0.8A of current with no display output. The motherboard processor gets warm, and there is continuous reading activity from the W25Q128BV BIOS chip.
Suspected Cause:
I suspect the BIOS may have been corrupted during a power interruption while updating the firmware. The official website provides firmware updates, but they can only be installed via USB flash drive.

Hi, I have an MSI PRO B660M-G DDR4 board with damaged BIOS and i need a bios dump from a real board, along with MAC, UUID and Serial Number info (eg. a BIOS screenshot and pictures from the board stickers).
I need to reconstruct the bios on my board, based on another bios image form a real board - meaning a bios image containing MAC address, UUID and Serial number. A stock BIOS is not suffiecient, as it is impossible to discover where the MAC, UUID and SerialNumber are stored. It must be a dump from a physical board, as it contains personalized data eg. MAC Address, UUID, Serial no.

I'm trying to recover a Fujitsu Lifebook E5513 (most likely 2023 model) that was bricked during a BIOS update. The update was interrupted (probably due to power loss), and now the laptop is stuck in a boot loop showing "PBB rollback" / "SBB rollback" messages.
