its working, but the problem still present, i thought when i reprogram the bios chip it will gone.
Real Time Clock Error - Check date and time.
Fan Error.
Thermal Sensing Error.
thing i do:
- changing 3.3V Battery.
- i'm sure that the Fan is working fine and spinning very well.
- changing the CPU.
- Finally i'm trying to reprogram Bios Chip's.

Hi all! I was reading on tutorials how to flash a bios to remove password from a bios, and I ended up reading the EC chip instead of the main bios chip, it only gave me a .bin file of 1,024kb, I learned later that that is the EC chip not the main bios chip (I should have read the tutorials here instead before attempting anything, my bad), I went to flash the original backup, the 1,024kb size file into the same chip and laptop is not powering up anymore. I may have screwed the chip or even the motherboard (Hopefully not), I am trying to see if there is a fix before I discard it. I had a couple... -

Good day. I apologize if I posted this in the wrong topic. I saw somebody selling a Thinkpad E495 with a Ryzen 3500U CPU near me. In the pictures the laptop is running windows 10. I contacted the seller and asked a few questions about upgradability and if it has a bios password on it. He confirmed it has a bios password. I searched through the forum, I found a guide regarding removing the bios password using the autopatcher, I also found a thread with the e495 where people requested help with unlocking the bios password.

Went dumpster-diving and found a bricked Lenovo P14S in trash, few weeks earlier. Symptoms - no screen, no POST, no beep, just keyboard LEDs flashing on powerup. Mute button+LED was responding though, and the display self-test was still working (via the key combo Ctrl+Fn+Power held for some seconds, see the Service manual).

Hello, I have this Lenovo Thinkpad P15v Gen 2. It powers, the keyboard lights up, the fans start spinning, the CPU heats up normally. However, it is not posting and I suspect the bios is corrupted.
Can someone provide a clean bios?
The information on the computer is below:
Serial# PF2R5YZM
Type# 21A9-004AUS
I found 2 identical BIOS chips on the motherboard, same model. One is marked U2001 and the other one is marked U4402. Both chips are 25Q256JVEQ
