Hello,
i try to change the screen for MSI Gaming Laptop, after i replace the screen the laptop stop working. charger indicator working when i plug the charger.
i disassemble the laptop, and found that when i press at power button the north bridge getting hot (warm) and nothing else happen.
is the south bridge dead? or i can do something else to retrieve the motherboard?...

HP 15-ac105nj have a short on ROM (bin4+8)
Hello my friends,
i know that bin 4 on ROM chip is ground
and bin 8 is for VCC
i have a short between ground and both of bin 4 and bin 8 on the ROM Chip
how i can troubleshoot that problem?
is that a processor fault?
can i inject bin 8 with 3.3V using the power supply? -

just to share information, i face that problem:
when i press on power the device work and display on the screen. most of times its stay on Lenovo Logo without boot to windows. in some few times its work normally and boot fine.
trying to change HDD, Ram (nothing changed)
i'm trying to flash the ROM using the file on the following link:

and everything goes good.
the device working fine after flashing ROM.
i hope somebody find that info usefull,... -

i hear that i can disconnect the NVidia card by remove a resistance beside it.
can any body help me how i can found that resistance? or lead to the correct way to disconnect the NVidia VGA card?

i have an issue with HP EliteBook 8570W.
when i put the charger on the DC-Jack the led of the charger light white then amber then white again then amber again. without stop.
and when i hit on power button nothing happen.

after fixing the motherboard, the keyboard worked partially. some keys working another not working.
i thought the problem is in the keyboard, but after replacing it the same keys wont work in the old keyboard also wont work in the new keyboard too.
so i figure that the problem is not in the keyboard. the keyboard plug is ok too.

thats first topic to me,
my case is with dell inspiron 3521, the laptop work fine, but don't charge the battery.
first thing i try is changing the battery with new one, same problem.
i try to change the charger, same problem.
i try to change the dc jack, same problem.
try to change bios chips (there is tow bios chips in that motherboard). same problem.
is there any other ideas? -

when i push power button, these messages are appear, then the laptop goes offline:
Real Time Clock Error - Check date and time.
Fan Error.
Thermal Sensing Error.
hings i'm trying to do:
- changing 3.3V Battery.
- i'm sure that the Fan is working fine and spinning very well.
- changing the CPU.
- Finally i'm trying to reprogram Bios Chip's.
can you help please?
