i am having trouble saving the old bios because it is The currently selected:GPR25L128A(ISP), capacity: 128Mbits, 16Mbytes. see also picture
the laptop seems to have corrupted bios as i am having flashing light and fans spins than nothing than i get flashin lights between red and whiteAttached Filesif you find these attachements useful please consider making a small donation to the site

i don't know how to write this chip, i am trying all the ones on the right as per my previous picture none will have it, all give error, does anyone know which one of the part number on this chip will take the bios, i also tried with a winbond chip but with that fan constantly on and high speed no dispalyComment

If you open the bios from imranromi with UEFITool there`s 2 supported bios chips in the descriptor region.
Flash chips in VSCC table:
EF4018 (Winbond W25Q128)
C22018 (Macronix MX25L128)
EF4018 and C22018 are the JDEC id`s,you can google them.

hi, i just tried with winbond 25q128fvsg but nothing light on, i press the power button light on for 20 seconds no fan spin no getting warm processor, than light goes offComment

Dell latitude 5580, motherboard cdp 80 la-e151p
3 amber 3 white blinks. Dell website sais it's problem "bios recovery" and suggested solution "recovery image not found"
(from here https://www.dell.com/support/manuals...e7a&lang=en-us)
I try plugging charger while pressing ctrl+esc, machine turns on, nothing and after 20 seconds it gives 3 amber 3 white blinks again.

So, i kinda spend significant ammount of the last couple of days trying to flash a new bios, and or unlocking the current bios password with little to no results.
The whole thing started with it being the 8fc8 bios, i found the tools to unlock that but i needed a bios dump. So i pursued that, im at a point where i dessoudered the chip, and succesfully soudered it to the ch341, dumped whatever was on it.
However, the tools supposed to unlock the 8fc8 say that there is no 8fc8 hex inside. And when i followed diffrent tutorials to just flash a new bios onto the chip i got stuck on the... -
Hi there masters, recently i got a dell 5400 chromebook and wanted to install windows, i searched the internet and i found out other people also wanting a UEFI bios for this model, i searched there is a R/W legacy, but there are bugs like keyboard/trackpad not working, and hard to install.
so i decided to try to port one, this bios is based on dell 5400 windows version, i am testing this bios for a week now an found only a little to no bug at all in windows 10, or only a minor issue
in windows 11 sound driver compatibility, but overall its ok, for me i can deal with it, 😅😅😅... -
