Re: Problem with CH341A
Hi ,
I believe it is the latest , but I'm not really sure.Anyway it worked for me.
Also I will attach some pictures - printscreens.
You can download the software for free.
Furthermore it doesn't make a great difference if you choose the serial driver setup- you will get the same installation files
That is as far as I could see.
When you connect 341 to your pc the power led will lit.It means that it gets the 5 Volts.
In the lower right corner of the flash program screen you will see : connected
This does not mean , that it has seen a bios chip. When you put a bios chip , the other led (RUN) will lite up.
The software has noticed the chip. When you press the "detect" button , the Run led will blink 1 time and continues to lite up.
If it has detected the right brand and model chip , you should be good to go.
When reading/writing or erasing , the run led will blink with a certain speed.
Of course , first you should run the setup_exe to install the usb driver files.
Then you can run the reprogram software - 341A_exe
I have Win 7 Ultimate 32 bits

by AquaMan UaHello. I am asking you for a hint on how to solve the problem with my touchbook Panasonic CF53-2 standart model. After setting up the BIOS, the laptop displays the wrong image until Windows loads. (More precisely, it displays, but distorted, instead of the Panasonic image immediately after turning it on, it displays what is in photo #1 in the attached file) Then the image appears when Windows starts loading and then there are no problems with the screen until the reboot. If you enter the BIOS, just a black screen. If you connect an external screen, the image on it is the same as on the built-in...2 Photos

My pc updated bios through Windows Update and I was greeted with BLACK SCREEN WITH CPU FAN MAX SPEED. I don't think there is even a screen signal, because it triggers my monitor for a couple seconds and then the monitor turns off. I tried the other outputs as well.
- I tried clearing bios, resetting bios, removed the CMOS battery, removed m.2 ssd, wifi, and ram. Still black screen with CPU fan blasting.
- I tried using the Lenovo BIOS CD and BIOS USB, but neither worked. At least I couldn't get anything to work.
- I could only locate two chips that look like bios chips. Could someone verify this

Hello everyone,
I'm trying to flash the BIOS chip Macronix MX25L6445E from my ASUS X455LD laptop using both a CH341A and an EZP2019+ programmer, but I keep encountering issues.
Reading the chip works perfectly, and I can extract the BIOS dump without any problems.
However, erasing and writing fail every time, regardless of the software I use. (Neo, asprog, ch341, etc)
I also tried applying 3.3V to pin 3, but it still didn't work.
I attempted to unprotect the chip, but when I read it back, the registers remained unchanged.

by what_1282105Following this guide (https://www.reddit.com/r/thinkpad/co...g_and_flashing) i re-flashed my t480s BIOS using an external (CH341A) programmer. The flash didnt work, so i reverted back to my BIOS backup successfully. The BIOS in the chip and the BIOS backup file are identical according to windows' file compare. The revert, however, didnt work: the only thing the computer does is flash the power button 3 times when AC power is connected. I've tried unplugging the CMOS battery, holding the reset button and holding down the power button- no signs of life....
