I'm trying to flash the BIOS chip Macronix MX25L6445E from my ASUS X455LD laptop using both a CH341A and an EZP2019+ programmer, but I keep encountering issues.

Reading the chip works perfectly, and I can extract the BIOS dump without any problems.

However, erasing and writing fail every time, regardless of the software I use. (Neo, asprog, ch341, etc)

I also tried applying 3.3V to pin 3, but it still didn't work.

I attempted to unprotect the chip, but when I read it back, the registers remained unchanged.

Thank you so much all, especially hardware1 and peste. I managed to fix it by flashing the EC with the file I found on Google, and then reflashing the main BIOS with the latest file given by Peste. I haven't had the chance to try the file you provided yet. This is the EC bin file I used to flash the EC. Thanks anyway Hardware1. 🙏...

Hi peste, thanks for your help. Unfornatunately, It still don't work. I try your "clean me.rar" on page 1, It can boot normally and access bios menu (it's much more modern compared to my previous bios), but I have to wait about 40 seconds or more before the display comes.

any ideas ?...
