Someone help me clean Me region for lenovo L460 NM-A651, I tried it myself but keep getting an error when I load the bin file FIT, issue with the backup below is power on no display tried all the files uploaded here none works

Read the chip again, at least 3 times, then use HxD to compare them to see if there are any differences.

I've done that, all 3 BIOS files read the same, HxD finds no difference.

What to do next? I have written every BIOS file from here. They say here only UC8M1 should be programmed.

It works, I've flashed both chips with two files, outimage(1).bin, and outimage(2).bin, and it worked.

I do not remember from where I have downloaded the .rar archive, if needed, I can uploaded here.

Hello to all.

My laptop: Lenovo ThinkPad L460 Type 20FU, BL460 NM-A651, rev:1.0, BIOS: 1 chip x 8MB MXIC 25L6473F.
Chip BIOS is defekt.
I have a replacement Winbond W25Q64FV bios chip.
I programmed it with the file from post #27.
Unfortunately it does not work. Black screen.

Please help.

As mentioned here: LENOVO BIOS AUTO-PATCHER for Supervisor Password Removal - Badcaps

STEP 1: Flash and replace current BIOS with the generated patch file (460_PATCHED.bin)
STEP 2: Boot the machine
STEP 3: Press ENTER/F1/etc. to enter BIOS settings
STEP 4: Enter any character when asked for Supervisor Password
STEP 5: Press enter when it shows Hardware ID
STEP 6: Press space bar 2x when asked
STEP 7: Turn off machine
STEP 8: Restore original BIOS (460.bin)
STEP 9: Reset BIOS settings to factory default

Checked, it works. No more passwords.
