    Toshiba L50-B-2FT Bios

    Hello. Greetings from Portugal. Sorry for the long post

    I'm having a fight with one of these L50.
    Board : DABLIDMB8E0, rev e. Bios in a 25B64B. Part no psktne-02v011ep

    Inicial condition : machine powers up fine, fan spins a couple of seconds, but doesn't boot. No keyboard. Turns down fine with power button.

    Thinking of a bios problem, tried a couple of bios dumps from the forum. One of them gave keyboard activity and turned the screen on (but blank).~

    Went back to my original bios dump, and cleaned it with "Intel Easy Clean ME", flashed it back and machine turned on. Without hdd, turned the machine on and off a couple of times, without problems. Putted hdd, and machine booted fine to windows. Turned it off, windows installed a couple of updates. After that when i tried to start it again, same problem, no boot.
    Reflashed bios again, started fine again. This time, restarted windows(twice), instead of shutting it down, and no problems. Tried to shut it down, and it went back to the same problem.

    Reflashed it again, and it's now working. Toshiba bios site doesn't have any download for this model.

    In short, it as done this 3 times, so i'm lost here.

    Any one has any suggestions ?

                                Hi, my laptop wont boot at all
                                With original bios no POST, only LED lights
                                With alternative BIOS from model TP500LN (flashed via programmer) the notebook works again
                                Some issues
                                A- with bios from 500LN, it won't update from bios of model 500LA (from 500LN v203 to 500LA v300)
                                B- If updated from 500LN version 203 to 300, the battery stops being recognized

                                Things I tried

                                Hello, I have an old Dell G3 3579 (ST: 2WQ7LP2-8FC8) with a newer 8FC8 BIOS password. I have successfully attached to the flash chip (W25Q128JVSQ) on the motherboard with a CH341A programmer and made several modifications using Intel FIT (e.g., allow software SPI write) without bricking. I was also able to boot to a modified GRUB shell where I attempted to edit many BIOS security related options like BIOS Guard/Lock, Flash Signature Override, ME FW Image Re-Flash, etc.

                                Unfortunately, some of these modifications like to Intel BIOS Guard failed because it is fused into the PCH. Also,...

                                Hello,

                                I have a Lenovo Thinkbook 15 G2 ITL i5 Laptop (serial number: MP2BFZEF) that when I turn it on, the led on the power button lights up for 5 seconds, then goes out. There's no display and nothing happens.
                                So I thought it was a Bios problem.
                                I found 3 bios chips on the board, which I read with a bios programmer: two XMC model bios chips and a Winbond model bios chip. Each XMC model bios chip has two partitions named XM25QH128A [3.3V] and XT25F128A [3.3V]. And the Winbond model bios chip has three partitions named W25Q80BL 3.3V, W25Q80xV 3.3V and W25Q80DV 3.3V....

                                Hi all,


                                I need the BIOS (bin files) to re-flash the BIOS chips on a toshiba laptop.

                                Why I am pretty sure I need this to repair?


                                1) Power supplies seem OK.

                                2) Battery has been replaced, is charging well ... also not the CMOS battery CR2032, also not OK without RAM, or 1 or the 2 RAM modules (RAMS are OK).

                                3) Laptop does really rare (seems random things) with the 3 leds (power, net, ...)

                                4) In the past, when trying to restart 100 times via power button, it was sometimes succeeding, now no more.
