Need bios bin file for Lenovo V110-15IAP
Hey guys.
I have a major problem with this lenovo laptop. Windows 10 decided to update the bios by itself, but for some reason, after updating the laptop turned off and I haven't been able to turn it on ever since.
All it does now, is spin the fan for a couple of seconds and then it turns off again. Also the led light is blinking every 2-3 seconds. Sometimes the screen turns on for a second as well, but it's completely grey/white and then it turns off again. If i let the battery connected or the charger plugged in sometimes it looks like it's trying to turn on, repeating the symptoms listed above.
This behavior even happened a few times with the lid closed...
Anyway, the weird thing is that I can't even find an older bios for it anymore. On the official Lenovo site there is only 1 bios file, and it's from this year. This is very weird since I know for a fact there was an older bios (maybe even 2) which Lenovo removed from the site for some reason...
If anyone could help me out with a bios dump for this model it would be very much appreciated. Maybe there still are some older versions of bios for this model...
I'll post the bios backup tomorrow.Comment

Re: Need bios bin file for Lenovo V110-15IAP
Thanks, but it gives the same error "file length beyond range will be ignored". In fact, it gives the same message even if I try to flash the backup bios. Am I missing something? I used ERASE>BLANK>WRITE>VERIFY in CH341A Programmer, and everything seemed ok, beside the error message when opening the bios files.
Anyway, I ignored the message and wrote the bios anyway, but nothing changed. The laptop is still dead. Only LED4 and LED2 are blinking intermittently.
Maybe an older version of bios would work?

Re: Need bios bin file for Lenovo V110-15IAP
Try AsProgrammer software, its a good alternative.Choose CH341A in the hardware tab first, then choose the bios chip manually from the list.

Re: Need bios bin file for Lenovo V110-15IAP
Well fuck. I think I just shorted something on the mainboard
I tested the laptop after the previous flashing, and it didn't work so I wanted to reflash it using AsProgrammer, but like a fucking genius I forgot to unplug the battery this time before connecting the programmer to usb, and now it's unresponsive, not event those 2 led lights blink anymore, and AsProgrammer or CH341A don't detect the bios properly anymore
:facepalm
Is there anything else left to do now?Comment

Summary of BIOS Whitelist Removal Problem
Problem:
I am attempting to remove the WWAN card whitelist from my Lenovo ThinkPad T560.
Initial Findings:- My current BIOS version is N1KET58W (1.45).
- I have a CH341A programmer and have successfully created two full backups of my BIOS.
- I have the ability to use command-line tools on a Linux machine.
- I attempted to use several automated and manual patching methods on my N1KET58W (1.45) BIOS, including using hex strings. These attempts all failed.
- I concluded that the

by WahazHello,
I have a Lenovo Thinkbook 15 G2 ITL i5 Laptop (serial number: MP2BFZEF) that when I turn it on, the led on the power button lights up for 5 seconds, then goes out. There's no display and nothing happens.
So I thought it was a Bios problem.
I found 3 bios chips on the board, which I read with a bios programmer: two XMC model bios chips and a Winbond model bios chip. Each XMC model bios chip has two partitions named XM25QH128A [3.3V] and XT25F128A [3.3V]. And the Winbond model bios chip has three partitions named W25Q80BL 3.3V, W25Q80xV 3.3V and W25Q80DV 3.3V....-

by gestalt.exeHi everyone,
My Lenovo Legion Y540 (i7-9750H, RTX 2060) bricked after I downgraded from BHCN44WW to BHCN21WW.
Laptop stopped booting entirely.
I used a CH341A programmer to dump the corrupted 16MB BIOS.
i then attempted the following:- Downloaded stock BIOS BHCN39WW from Lenovo
- Trimmed it to 16MB
- Extracted the BIOS region from the corrupted dump
- Extracted the BIOS region from the stock 39WW
- Replaced the corrupted BIOS region with the stock one (within hxd , opened the corrupted dump and replaced its region by the stock)
- Injected back my LDGB / DMI

by grimacelordHello there.
I am working on a Lenovo Legion T5-26AMR5 desktop that currently has a corrupt BIOS and I have been unsuccessful thus far in trying to fix it myself.
History:
1. This computer came to me initially with an error message that said "BiInitializeLibrary failed 0xc0000001" or "0135 fan error". It would always be one of the two errors. It should be noted that when it produced the fan error, there was no physical problem with the fans. They were all spinning just fine.
I searched for this error online and discovered...-

by to5it0Need Clean BIOS/EC Bin File for Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga 11e - Stuck with 0275 Error CMS
Hello everyone,
I am attempting a repair on a Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga 11e that is currently stuck at boot with the error: "0275 error CMS" even after setup new bios battery and will not allow me to enter the BIOS/Setup.
This is a critical issue that I believe requires flashing the BIOS chip directly using a programmer (e.g., CH341A/RT809H), as standard software updates or resets are not possible.
I have opened the laptop and identified the main BIOS chip...2 Photos-
