Re: bios dump elitebook 840 g3
yes, you can rewrite a new chip with a bios, if we have the bios ... post the full name and model of the laptop and the motherboard model ... let's see if we find the bios ..Due to a lack of donations, server free space at a critical level, and possible closure of Bios Requests all donations are welcome, click:

Re: HP EliteBook 850 G3 corrupted extracted image
Hi all. I have a hp 850 g3 bought from a pawn store which had password locked bios. I desoldered the W25Q128 chip and made a dump read with ch341 programmer v1.29. After that, i've used HP bios unlocker to generate the unlocked bios, erased the chip, made a blank check and then write + verify. Made this operations few times and each time got an error that said that the info i have written on the chip is not the same as the one loaded in programmer. Soldered the chip altough i knew i have this error and the laptop either did not do anything, either started to work with no image on display and fan blowing at maximim. After furher searches on google found that only ASProgrammer works ok with this chip or CH341 programmer version 1.18. Hence, i used the bios clean me file posted by SMDFlea here because i suspected that my dump read might be corrupt, wrotted with asprogrammer and laptop start working again.
My curiosity now is if the dump read i made is corrupt or no, and if it's ok, can i unlocked it and then flash it via windows or BIOS? I am asking this because of the windows lincese which is embded on it and because i am not willing to dissasembly the laptop and desolder the chip again.
Here is my dump.Last edited by SMDFlea; 04-02-2023, 12:22 PM.Comment

			by AhariHi all,
This is my first post here (I am very new to forums!) and I hope someone can help. I am looking for a full dump of the BIOS of a HP Proliant Microserver Gen 8 so that I can get this mini server running again. (BIOS version J06 2019-04-04, chip 25Q064A). I think my board was partially bricked after a failed BIOS update.
I got it second hand in this state and all the normal attempts at bios restoration have not worked. I have even desoldered the chip and tried to load the actual BIOS from HP, but it is missing some parts needed to boot the system.
I...-

			by mkdjDear all,
I have a ASUS ZenBook UX480F with the following symptoms:
I suspect it is a BIOS issue. So I decided to try to clean the ME region. I followed the guide on win-raid, and I believe I have done everything correctly. My problem is: when I open the outimage.bin in ME Analyzer, it says that it is Extracted, and not Region, Extracted as it should be. Is it normal, or did I do something not correctly? This is my first experience editing BIOS files.
I would appreciate if someone could take time to explain the issue, so that I can learn. But I would...-

by Habble7The Samsung S49CG934SU monitor does not power on - no LED indicator activity and no response to power button. However, when 21V power is connected, it immediately draws 0.8A of current with no display output. The motherboard processor gets warm, and there is continuous reading activity from the W25Q128BV BIOS chip.
Suspected Cause:
I suspect the BIOS may have been corrupted during a power interruption while updating the firmware. The official website provides firmware updates, but they can only be installed via USB flash drive.

			by CityminHi all,
My Samsung Galaxy Book 2 Pro 15.6-inch laptop has no display and won't boot.
The charging red LED lights up, but the charging screen doesn't show any indication.
When I press the power button, the blue LED cycles on and off three times, then the screen doesn't turn on, and the device won't boot.
(I've tried removing the battery and resetting the device, but the issue persists.)
