Re: Asus x55vd bios needed
Your original file has this serial number: CCN0CV18387950G. This serial is correct or not? If it correct so your device is X55C.
Try this file and let me know.Attached Files----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi all, I've spent the past week digging through the forums and guides to try correct my foolish mistake of changing hidden settings while tinkering around, and to be honest my heads overloaded so I'm hoping you'll be able to help.
I used a tool called 'Smokeless-UMAF' to access usually hidden settings in the bios. I tweaked one or two 'safe' things but made the mistake of tweaking a lot of settings under 'USB/Thunderbolt Configurations' when I didn't know what they did. For...-

by jbonavitaHi, my laptop wont boot at all
With original bios no POST, only LED lights
With alternative BIOS from model TP500LN (flashed via programmer) the notebook works again
Some issues
A- with bios from 500LN, it won't update from bios of model 500LA (from 500LN v203 to 500LA v300)
B- If updated from 500LN version 203 to 300, the battery stops being recognized
Things I tried
1- Update / clear ME: Took the non working bios, made a backup, and did this: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...theory/trouble...-

by lrouw84Hi there,
I know there is somebody who can tell me what is happening with my laptop. For start, it is an asus vivobook s510ua with an asustek x510ua motherboard with an intel i5 7200u cpu and 16gb ram.. i have a screenshot from speccy before strange things started.. as you can see the laptop type and bios version x510ua.302.I don’t manually update the bios because i don’t like to having a bricked bios, i know what troubles that gives..
I did a fresh win 11 install, and after the automatic updates, windows rebooted and automatically started asus ez flash.....-

by zdarghHello! After an automatic windows update - it went through a bios update that has put my laptop into a boot loop that gets shorter and shorter until it just powers on and off. I can make it almost to the login screen and I tried to start the factory reset, but it just keeps entering the bootloop.
It completely bricked at some point, so I pull the bios, but I couldn't get the DMI and windows key information to build a new one (I tried one of the guides and I can't find it), I ended up just flashing it with the ezupdate file from the asus website using a ch3a1a SPI programmer (also...-
