Board: DA0ZRWMB6G0 Rev: G ZRW
Laptop was in Legacy Mode. Was turning on and working fine on battery. Was not booting on External power. If turned on on battery and after boot starts plug in Power cord, works fine (+ charging). Changed to UEFI - no problems starting on battery or power supply, woking fine. Changed to Legacy to backup files. Removed battery to insert SSD. After that the main problem.
Turns on, display turns on, but blank, nothing happening. Backed up bios by programmer and flashed other bioses for same board ID, non of them worked and all of them didn't turn on the screen. Just the original dump and the
W25Q64_CLEAN.zip by SMDFlea turn on screen, but stays blank.
I've attached my dump, seems like some BIOS issue, but can't figure it out.
All voltages measure OK. What else can I check?Comment

*fixed - bios chip failed, replacement was 1.8V, so it failed too. Got one 64-bit 3.3V from donor board. Flashed OK (W25Q64_CLEAN), works OK on UEFI.Comment

Result - no screen, 0,22A current after power on. Fortunately I found working BIOS for this model on another forum. CheersComment

I have a Asus ROG Strix Scar 15 (G533QM) that had a dead motherboard (Graphics card dead) and after trying to fix the motherboard with no success, I bit the bullet on a sale for a new motherboard. I ordered a motherboard for the 15 inch model which is the one that I have, and when the motherboard arrived it wasn't for a little while that I saw it was from the 17 inch model.
My question is, can I update the Bios on this G733 motherboard to a G533 Bios.

I am trying to fix an Acer Aspire 5542. Upon turning it on, the fan starts to spin for a few seconds and then it stops. I hear no beeps from the speaker. I have no image both on the laptop screen and through VGA and HDMI connectors.
I measured voltages, and it seems all power supplies are OK. There are 5V, 3.3V (BIOS), 1.8V (RAM), and 1.1V (VCORE).
I tried to read the BIOS using a CH341A programmer, but it did not detect the chip. I took the BIOS chip away from the motherboard, and then the CH341A detected the chip, and I was able to read the code. However,... -

My daughter has accidentally managed to kill her Acer gaming desktop it has a blank screen after updating and when you press the power button the fans spin, light comes on and it makes 1 long and 1 short beep and no attempt to boot.
All basic troubleshooting has been done we replaced CPU, GPU and RAM from a working machine and no joy, I also noticed a post on here with the same issue and it was the BIOS. I am pretty sure also because it was doing a BIOS update that stopped it working, she knocked the keyboard out by accident during the update and the screen just went... -
