Hi I got 4740s HP that I am trying to fix last 5 days but with no hope, so I said maybe someone here on forum will maybe know whats wrong with it. So laptop turns off after 30 minutes no matter if it's in full load or idle, or in windows or in bios.
What I try is
- different adapter
- flash bios to latest version
- change memory
- change memory module
- checked heatsink it's ok
- put new thermal paste on cpu and gpu
- disconnect bios battery for 1 hour
- disassembled it and look closely to chips and mosfets everything looks legit no burns or any suspicious things on motherboard or shorts when assembled.
I really don't know what else to do, I am starting to think something is maybe wrong with bios chip but I'm not sure if thats correct, can someone help me here, tnx.
