Having battery / Charger issues.
replaced drivers / BQ Charger / Checked senses / Coil
Suspect the selector IC or something on the Adapter Detect/AC_ok circuits?
But since I'm not sure and its been a really long time...; I would really appreciate a schematic for this MB.

Re: Wiring "High Density" network drops
To add to the above about the switches somehow I assumed using the good stuff.... But they will probably be consumer grade stuff (basic). In that case the bandwidth stuff doesn't matter obviously...
Having been busy studying has flooded my mind with Cisco's good stuff.(In means the expensive hardware) Anyways

Re: Wiring "High Density" network drops
Hi Curious.George
Thanks for taking the time to explain. Also sorry for the delay, been so busy... Planing to write my CCNA exam in mid March.
Well it seems there aren't much you could do, without having to redo(replace) cables and having to go into some kinda "crawling squirm mode" :P
Having all the cables to the exact length is bad but also neat. You could really only re-position those cables or just re-position end hosts/stations... Using the same cables... But either way...Last edited by MJ-meo-dmt; 02-19-2019, 06:15 AM.

Re: Wiring "High Density" network drops
Hey Curious.George. Thanks for the diagram and extra bits of info.
Okay so to get my head around this setup... Because I'm not fully aware of what you are aiming to achieve so please bare with me... Is it just this one room that you need to setup/redo. OR are there other variables?
So this is the main room. aka your "core" I take it... And you are obviously limited to space... are all the drops in this one room or are they outer points (outside "core").
And you want to redo...

Are you setting this up or are you fixing someone else's setup? (It sounds like you are fixing someone else's setup...)
Honestly it seems like some posts are either missing or something is not right here... I'm interested to help...
Best of luck!

Re: Acer aspire Desktop PC no display
Hi Romy thanks for the back image :P but i think i didnt make any sense.. attached is a example... the values is just there so I can explain what I meant.
Would you mind doing something like that... or anyway you think would make sense for us so we can have a clear view of what is going on....Last edited by MJ-meo-dmt; 01-10-2019, 06:00 AM.

Re: Acer aspire Desktop PC no display
Romy would you mind updating your attached image having added all the voltages onto the points you tested. so we can see it on the image.. that would lessen the confusion. thanks.
when you say both one side voltage and both other side no voltage? while the MB is powered? you should have voltage on both sides unless im not understanding u...

Re: Acer aspire Desktop PC no display
Does it get GFX core voltage? can check the coils around the CPU "region" 1V usually CPU (check the specs for that cpu) 1.2V-1.8V for GFX usually depends... what cpu is that? and what ram is that standard or low voltage? should be getting 1.3V - 1.5V usually depending on type...Last edited by MJ-meo-dmt; 01-10-2019, 05:00 AM.

Re: DELL 1564 UM3B - Battery not charging
Hi
I like your style of posting (looking at the First post)
Attached is schematic snip...
Did you check the PSID line in. I have found so many issues with the components on that circuit, visually they look okay as soon as you light reflow they start to show. In most cases I had ones with broken/burned legs, as said visually they looked fine, trying to take them off showed the problem as you pick it up via tweezers one leg stays behind :P So maybe just...Last edited by MJ-meo-dmt; 12-04-2018, 07:50 AM.

Re: Fixing long screw damage on plastic
hahahahahahahahahahaha
Agreed with the others just learn the screw sizes and length. And learn where they go when you take them out. And in mind when you put them back imagine the inside of the case and then think to yourself would screw x make sense here or there I mean just taking the length of the screw and where you are putting it if its too long it would be fairly obvious.... This you learn by taking many many many laptops apart. I don't even bother anymore with the screws... I'm a pile of screws guy... Don't get me wrong...Last edited by MJ-meo-dmt; 12-03-2018, 03:43 AM.

Re: Ford Bantam 1.6 Rocam ECU chip Identification help
@petehall347: Yeah I agree...
@sam sam sam: I don't that's the thing. It's not my car/job to work on. I only got the ECU. And partly I'm trying to narrow down the issue for the mechanic as part of being "nice". I think I will tell him that I can look at it this weekend.
I didn't have my scope with me to check the signals at that time. But as mentioned it weren't my "place" out of respect to fiddle/work on or try anything other than working on the ECu PCB itself.
The...

Re: car, motorcycle programming or decoding
Ahh interesting. Yeah its because taking it to a mechanic or some shop would always cost a lot and then you have to worry about the repair shop and/or mechanic. You don't ever really know if they really know what they are doing.... People always assume the mechanics and repair shop know what they are doing...
Anyways I have a lot of info regarding this. But I think you'd be better off learning some basics first, and luckily on Youtube there's a guy or 2 that I enjoy watching. One is scanner danner. His diagnostic...Last edited by MJ-meo-dmt; 11-26-2018, 01:41 AM.

Re: Alienware 17 R4 Charging issue
That cap that is blown up - replace that... I don't think that would cause the no charging effect. But since that blew it could have created a spike...
Check the mosfets on the charging circuit like mcplslg123 mentioned.
You should trace backwards from the battery terminal to see which is the battery side sense resistor. PU201 almost looks like the powercontroller for the RAM. But anyways.
