Re: Packard Bell EG70 bios dunp needed
For the usb check the 5V on usb port.
If this tension is not present check the usb power chip, if is present probably a chipset issue. If you have the schematic post itComment

Re: Packard Bell EG70 bios dunp needed
Hello, I don't know if the bios I have can help you, one is from my own laptop and the other is downloaded from wed pages.
I hope to do it well, I explain what happens in mine is that it does not give an image, what I do notice is that if I put a flashlight on the screen, flashes are perceived, I cannot investigate further why I am missing the diagram, if someone has it , if I can publish it.Comment

by macabookHello everyone,
I’m currently working on a dead MSI GP75 Leopard (MS-17E71) motherboard (i7 CPU, NVIDIA GPU) with a no display/no backlight issue initially. After extensive investigation, I’m at a critical stage involving EC firmware, BIOS/ME region interaction, and possible deep corruption. I'm seeking advanced insight from anyone with experience in EC/BIOS sync issues or PCH-level behavior. Here’s a full breakdown:
🧩 Initial Issue- Board powers on (fans spin, keyboard lights up and can be adjusted, caps lock led lights), but no display or backlight
- External display (HDMI) shows

by Verlengsnoerhi all,
ive got a packerd bell lv11hc with a bad bios,
the laptop works but reboots randomly and after reboot it freezes on windows loading,
i found a acer v3-771g bios here on the forum when i was searching for the packard bell version, the acer bios works fine, no random reboots, no freezes, but the keyboard layout of acer and packerd bell are different.
thats the reason why i want the PB backup to be fixed,
hope someone can help me, i added the main and ec? bios files

by DynaxSCHi, I have an MSI PRO B660M-G DDR4 board with damaged BIOS and i need a bios dump from a real board, along with MAC, UUID and Serial Number info (eg. a BIOS screenshot and pictures from the board stickers).
I need to reconstruct the bios on my board, based on another bios image form a real board - meaning a bios image containing MAC address, UUID and Serial number. A stock BIOS is not suffiecient, as it is impossible to discover where the MAC, UUID and SerialNumber are stored. Tried with a similar board, but there are too much differences, and the stock BIOS is missing a lot of...11-17-2023, 10:56 AM - Loading...
