Lenovo B560 bios problem
Hello masters. Lenovo B560, motherboard code: la56 mb 48.4jw06.021
When the device came to the service, when the nvidia video card driver was installed, it remained on the black screen,
I deleted the main and kbc bios when I was trying to experiment with the bios.
The device starts and there is no problem in its operation, even it is understood from the sounds that it entered the bios, but the screen is white led lights on.
I tried all the bios on the site but they all end with 48.4jw06.011
I guess kbc doesn't hold bios. Could you please help with bios?
If anyone with 48.4jw06.021 kbc and main bios can help, I will be very pleased.Comment

Re: Lenovo B560 bios problem
You must backup the original bios before trying with other bios. Post here your original bios.

by AHmad_SalalHello all,
I have a Lenovo Thinkstation P500 that is stuck at post with no display, it happened after I changed the memory timings in bios. I can not clear CMOS using the jumper on the motherboard, also tried re-flashing bios suing a USB stick but it also doesn't work. The only solution that I can think of right now is re-flashing the bios chip using an external programmer but the problem is that I don't have the bios dump of p500 for flashing externally and I don't know the location of bios chip. If someone can provide the bios dump and bios chip location it would be really helpful....-

by Habble7The Samsung S49CG934SU monitor does not power on - no LED indicator activity and no response to power button. However, when 21V power is connected, it immediately draws 0.8A of current with no display output. The motherboard processor gets warm, and there is continuous reading activity from the W25Q128BV BIOS chip.
Suspected Cause:
I suspect the BIOS may have been corrupted during a power interruption while updating the firmware. The official website provides firmware updates, but they can only be installed via USB flash drive.

by JoluvillasHi all! I was reading on tutorials how to flash a bios to remove password from a bios, and I ended up reading the EC chip instead of the main bios chip, it only gave me a .bin file of 1,024kb, I learned later that that is the EC chip not the main bios chip (I should have read the tutorials here instead before attempting anything, my bad), I went to flash the original backup, the 1,024kb size file into the same chip and laptop is not powering up anymore. I may have screwed the chip or even the motherboard (Hopefully not), I am trying to see if there is a fix before I discard it. I had a couple...

Hi, I hope this is the right place to post this. This is my first post on this forum.
A friend helped me get a prototype Lenovo motherboard from China, it's got a hole drilled in it but I'm working on trying to revive it to some degree. I dumped the bios in hopes that it might be useful to someone, since this board is configured with the 3rd NVMe SSD slot and maybe it is useful as a reference for modding another bios to support this function. For example the M90q Gen 2 / P350's unpopulated 3rd NVMe slot footprint maybe.
This bios dump is straight from the chip, nothing has been...-

by mrkmpnLenovo X1 Carbon 7th Gen Type 20R1
SN: PF1Y5BBJ
Board: GX490 NM-C661 Rev: 1.0
I have made two dumps of this bios, with the bios chip removed from the board and the hashes match on both dumps, but I cannot find the DMI information in the dumps except for the Windows product key, so I think it is corrupted. I have downloaded two bios updates from the Lenovo support site, but they contain small .PAT file, and 4 subfolders containing .FL1 and .FL2 files, which I don't understand enough to figure out how to use to fix my dump.
The problem with the laptop is that...-
