Need working bios for Dell 5520
Good day everyone. I would like to ask if anybody have working bios for this laptop Dell 5520, la-8241p rev 1.0 amd gpu.
The first issue was the 5 beeps that point out to a cmos battery. I already tried replacing cmos battery but still same problem. I decided to flash bios coming from here. The beeping issue is gone, but it has no display now. The motherboard is responding because the fan stops and spin when processor is getting hot. And also when I press power button it turns off accordingly.
The bios I used may not be compatible or has a different setting. I can also upload mine so maybe someone can fix it. Hope someone helps. Thanks.Attached FilesComment

djems3, with your bios i get 7 beeps which points out to processor. most likely this bios is from different processor. Mine is an i5-3210m (SR0MZ) with Amd 216-0833000 Mobility Radeon HD 7670M gpu. Anyway thanks for sharing.Last edited by lezsimply; 02-26-2021, 10:50 PM.Comment

Hi, I have an MSI PRO B660M-G DDR4 board with damaged BIOS and i need a bios dump from a real board, along with MAC, UUID and Serial Number info (eg. a BIOS screenshot and pictures from the board stickers).
I need to reconstruct the bios on my board, based on another bios image form a real board - meaning a bios image containing MAC address, UUID and Serial number. A stock BIOS is not suffiecient, as it is impossible to discover where the MAC, UUID and SerialNumber are stored. Hi, I hope some one has some advice for me. I searched the forums but didn't see anything relevant. I acquired two identical Dell 9010 Mid Tower computers from a business office upgrade (they were going to throw them out). Both of them have the same motherboard (00F82W). One of them works flawlessly. The other one had a corrupted BIOS. I tried flashing numerous main BIOS and EC files from the internet, but none of them worked. I have this laptop that does boot but it's on an older BIOS that has issues with Secure Boot, and I cannot use the normal Razer BIOS updater because for some reason the serial number is missing / got deleted somehow (Common issue on this model, from what I've read). I got a dump of the BIOS chip (or at least what I think is the BIOS chip), and its 16MB in size - the files from the Razer BIOS update are 8MB. (There's two 8MB files, am I supposed to combine these somehow? Or combine with an Intel ME firmware? I have no idea).
So, I'm looking for a BIOS dump for this machine - a 16MB one.... -
