          This is a non_DMI bios.

To add DMI, find on forums keyword " Golden key ".

post S/N, full name and model, motherboard model, etc.

post the original contents of the bios chip..

Due to a lack of donations, server free space at a critical level, and possible closure of Bios Requests all donations are welcome, click:

The original is all corrupted. The dump downloaded above is filled in, the serial number of the original MTM is installed with a gold key. In addition to the Windows key.
I can disassemble, solder and drain it again if necessary.

                          Hello,

I have a Lenovo V14 G2 ALC. I bought it and put Linux on in, life was good. I had some work that can only be done in Windows so, I've made a Windows Live USB to boot from that and do my work. I boot from USB, Window logo shows up and loading, 10 minutes later no progress, I hold the power putton the shut down. RIP laptop. From that moment on my laptop stop booting, no UEFI, Caps Lock light not working, no nothing. My best guess? Somehow Windows corrupted my BIOS.
With help from this amazing forum I manage to extract... something.... from Lenovo's Bios Updater .exe, I flash that on the laptop and well, there is some progress. Laptop boots, Caps Lock works, but the laptop screen does not come on. I can connect a HDMI cable to an external monitor and I do have an image. I don't see any obvious issues with the hardware or connections.
Can anyone help me with a BIOS blob that should 100% work?

                          Laptop: Lenovo V14 G2 ALC Type 82KC
                          Motherboard: HV461&HV561 NM-D522 2020-12-11 Rev:2.0
                          S/N: PF3FAMSR
                          Original Corrupt BIOS dump: OriginalCorruptBIOSdump
Lenovo's latest BIOS Updater exe: LenovoUpdaterGLCN68WW

P.S. I have tried all the blobs in this post. Interastigly, the first blob by hoaca388 (post #2) kinda works? It boots and the laptop screen works but is very deem (like there backlight is totally off) and I can't increese the brightness.

I think there was a coincidental hardware failure.

That's what I thought as well. But then, I tried some firmware and only the Lenovo logo came up on the laptop screen, with other firmware the screen worked just no backlight, with my old corrupt firmware nothing show on the laptop screen or through HDMI.

Can you help me with a working BIOS Sir? I am not lazy, I am working on this for a week, and I am at the end of my wits. Just so I know 100% is the hardware and then I will buy a new screen.
I will update this post with my findings.

Attempt with older version GLCN52WW from the V15 G2 ALC thread, as the oldest version I could download from Lenovo webpage is GLCN66WW by renaming the URL
                                  https://download.lenovo.com/consumer...s/glcn66ww.exe

                                  Those models share the same BIOS: S14 G2 ALC/S15 G2 ALC/IdeaPad 3 14ALC6/IdeaPad 14sALC 2021/IdeaPad 3 15ALC6/IdeaPad 15sALC 2021/IdeaPad 3 17ALC6/IdeaPad 3 15ALC6/Lenovo V14 G2 ALC/Lenovo V15 G2 ALC

Attached BIOS with your DMI inserted

                                  V14 G2-ALC Laptop (Lenovo) - Type 82KC
                                  Bios ver GLCN52WW
                                  DMI 1000-2FFF
                                  S/N PF3FAMSR

Maybe the issue is not the screen itself, but the screen cable, or the backlight fuse in the motherboard

Thank you so so muchm1ch43lzm !
I've flashed it and there is still no backlight, hoaca388 was right, there is also a hardware problem 😞. But at least now, I can stop thinking about the BIOS.

Apparently the backlight circuit tends to die if you connect the monitor whilst the battery is still plugged in (something I probably did 😳).
I found the board view and schematic for this board and I will attach them to this tread, maybe someone will find in them useful in the future.

I have a cheap multimiter and I did look around a bit, but I can't tell what voltages or resitances are normal.
Is so satisfying fixing things. I could probably do it myself, but it will take too log, this laptop is my main machine and is already broken for a week. I think I will swallow my pride and take it to a repair shop.

                                    Hello Folks,

                                    may I join? I battle since 2 weeks a downclocked Lenovo V14 G2 ALC.
There are 2 Linux on it: MX-Linux and Kali Everything.
Cause was probably a heat event and it is obviously a hardware problem.
The CPU got new cooling paste. The error was CPU#X stuck for 28s.
The problem does not appear anymore, but it is still downclocked on 400Mhz.
I try to update the Bios/Uefi, to solve this. At the moment I download HBCD_PE_x64.iso

Hello everyone, I happen to have a Microsoft Surface Pro X 1876 in my hands. It was brought to me by a friends which happen to have taken off the bios chip to test another motherboard. Upon putting back the bios chip on the original motherboard, The PC is stucked on Windows logo and won t boot to bios or anything. I suspect that the changes of bios chip somehow corrupted the firmware inside. Is the hypothesis correct?

Also i extracted the bios inside the chip which was on Winbond 25R128JWPQ you can find the file attached if you can fix it (if possible, I would like some insight on...

Lenovo M92p TINY 3238 lost ability to boot after BIOS update

                                      Hello!
yesterday I received from eBay a Lenovo M92p TINY model 3238 system with 4GB of RAM and a 500GB mechanical HDD.
I tested it and it worked fine, it booted to a fresh Win10 x64 French OS .
The plan was to replace the mechanical HDD with an SDD one and upgrade RAM to the max 16GB since I had 2x 8GB SODIMM modules.

I noticed that there was an update on the Lenovo support site so I thought I'd do that first and then proceed with the upgrades and installation of new OS.
The windows BIOS update completed successfully and the system booted to a bios-like...

So far I've been a silent reader, but now I need your help

I bought a laptop. The seller said the bios was locked. I was looking for a way to remove this ban.
I then got the CH341A and pulled the corresponding files from here https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...evices-and-ele...
The laptop was brought in with a BIOS problem and a password. After reading the dump, the information was damaged. I ask for help in the BIOS with a clean ME region. Motherboard 213035-1. Serial number: PW+04e998, Type number: 21c3-0016ge
