Bios bin file for HP 15-EF0875MS

This one came to me with the "Bios update failed" loop. In a rush I honestly forgot the golden rule of making a backup of the bios file before flashing to the chip. I downloaded the bios from HP support, extracted and flashed. Tried both 086FD.bin and 08707.bin. Now the machine shows no signs of life and there is no 3.3V to the bios chip. Other voltages are present 5V and 19V. I've checked the logic board for shorts, none present. Unfortunately I do not have a backup bios file to attach as per the requirements of posting. Any help with this issue will be immensely appreciated.

Unfortunately it does not, and I tried both that were provided by HP through the update softpack

Hi, let me begin by saying thanks. This file worked at least enough to get the machine powered on. After this however it goes through writing 2nd PSP bios data, then 1st PSP bios data.....during the latter of the two the system shuts off at random points. If I restart the machine the process begins again and it loops writing the data again then shutting off before completion. I tried using the USB Bios recovery provided by HP but the machine doesn't boot the drive (even after I turned off secure boot to allow legacy support). The system sees the drive as bootable but I get a blank screen after selecting USB. I've also tried the Windows Key + B to do a bios recovery and that goes back to the 2nd PSP, 1st PSP issue after the recovery is complete.

Hi guys....thanks so much for all your help again. SMDFlea...I will keep the bios file you sent just in case. I did manage to get the one provided earlier by LBTT1121. I disabled secure boot and it worked like a charm. Maybe I'll try it out sometime in the future if I have any issues......for now I'll go by "If it ain't broke, don't fix it". THANKS AGAIN SO MUCH GUYS! I hope to return the favor sometime (somehow). 😁

Notice to users of XGecu TL866II Plus / T48 / T56 / T76 programmers regarding BIOS backup file size
                by m1ch43lzm
                Hi everyone
I noticed on the Xgpro software the BIOS backup files have extra bytes at the end when reading some chips, this is because the Xgpro software also reads the OTP region of those flash chips, and by default will append that region to the saved file
                Programmer models: XGecu TL866II Plus / T48 / T56 / T76

Example: GD25LQ128D (1.8V), IC size is listed as 0x1000000 Bytes (16777216 bytes) + 0xC00 bytes, those extra 0xC00 bytes will be appended to the end of the saved file by default, resulting in a file size of 16780288 bytes
There's also an extra OTP Secu.R...

Need Clean BIOS/EC Bin File for Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga 11e - Stuck with 0275 Error CMS

                Hello everyone,

I am attempting a repair on a Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga 11e that is currently stuck at boot with the error: "0275 error CMS" even after setup new bios battery and will not allow me to enter the BIOS/Setup.

This is a critical issue that I believe requires flashing the BIOS chip directly using a programmer (e.g., CH341A/RT809H), as standard software updates or resets are not possible.

I have opened the laptop and identified the main BIOS chip...

                Hi all,

My Samsung Galaxy Book 2 Pro 15.6-inch laptop has no display and won't boot.
The charging red LED lights up, but the charging screen doesn't show any indication.
When I press the power button, the blue LED cycles on and off three times, then the screen doesn't turn on, and the device won't boot.
(I've tried removing the battery and resetting the device, but the issue persists.)

Looking for BIOS flash file for HUAWEI MateBook X Pro 2019 (MACH-WX9)
                by maanee11
                Hello Everyone,

I have HUAWEI MateBook X Pro 2019 (MACH-WX9) whose BIOS got corrupted i beleive. I have acquired Ch341A SPI flasher to program the BIOS externally. I see that to program the BIOS, i need BIOS bin/hex file which i could use to reflash it externally via the flasher tool.

It seems like the support page of this model no longer exist: https://consumer.huawei.com/be/lapto...ro-2019/specs/

In the website, you can only see specs etc.

I have not tried to extract the BIOS dump yet as I want to see if there is any ray of sunshine...

                🛠️ MSI GP75 Leopard MS-17E71 – No Display, Deep BIOS/EC Troubleshooting
                by macabook
                Hello everyone,

I’m currently working on a dead MSI GP75 Leopard (MS-17E71) motherboard (i7 CPU, NVIDIA GPU) with a no display/no backlight issue initially. After extensive investigation, I’m at a critical stage involving EC firmware, BIOS/ME region interaction, and possible deep corruption. I'm seeking advanced insight from anyone with experience in EC/BIOS sync issues or PCH-level behavior. Here’s a full breakdown:
                🧩 Initial Issue
                • Board powers on (fans spin, keyboard lights up and can be adjusted, caps lock led lights), but no display or backlight
                • External display (HDMI) shows
                ...
