After replacing the PCH bridge, no image - it is necessary to clear the region. Can anyone help? Attached is the bios
MSI GF65 MS-16W21 rev, 1.0 - Clean Me Bios please
-
Post the laptop serial number https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...before-posting
Whenever the PCH is replaced the ME firmware must always be cleaned. There are some guides if you want to have a go at it yourself https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...22#post1622422
If there is a full bios image at MSI support you don`t need to clean the ME as it will be clean and configured already, just copy any DMI info or windows key from your backup to the new image.Comment

Thanks again.
Update, already successfully flash EC using this BIN but machine not turning ON, led indicator will lit split seconds after pressing power button.
3.3v present on EC chip caps.
+3VALW and +5VALW also present on TPS51225c step down IC.
+5VSUS and +3VSUS is not present when power button is not press, (present when pressed) which I think normal on MSI GF65 laptop not sure though.
Orig bios bin file still attached to extract EC bin file. Original EC chip already burnt and cannot extract EC bin from there.
Model: MSI GF65 THIN
Board: MS-16W21

Thank you, already tried flasing both EC and BIOS still same result.
What could be the possible issue?
Power led will just flash when pressing power button and board suddenly take 100mA current and back to zero for split second after pressing ON.
Thanks.Comment

GF65 Thin 10UE
There's two versions on MSI website, depending on which BIOS version/board revision it has
Attached ver 101, if main BIOS is ver .1xx
EC Ver 300 (for BIOS ver .3xx) also attached
Flashing wrong version can cause compatibility issues, backup main BIOS and search for 16W2, you'll find something like "16W2EMS1.101" (or "16W2EMS1.300"), choose the appropriate one
EDIT: Reupload EC ver 300Attached Filesif you find these attachements useful please consider making a small donation to the site

by Focus2005Hello everyone.
I have another HP OMEN 16-C0114NW laptop with serial number 5CD1501LJX. The original problem was as follows. The laptop could not load Windows and every time it threw a bluescreen - y - most often WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR. The processor that was originally in it was AMD RYZEN 7 5800H MOBILE PROCESSOR - 100-000000295. I decided to replace it with a fully functional, used AMD RYZEN 5 5600H MOBILE PROCESSOR - 100-000000296, which I got from a donor board, on which it worked 100%. After soldering the processor, I also uploaded a new, fresh BIOS to it with the UBT2 program...-

by DynaxSCHi,
I have a serious problem to program the Z590 chipset SRAM with a Management Engine after replacing the chipset.
The new chipset is factory new and is not containing any Management Engine. Any attempts to program it into the chipset under Windows ends with a failure (eg. Error 20: Management Engine Device not present, or something similar).
Due to the lack of the ME several ports on the board, including all M.2 ports aren't working, booting OS works only on USB. So it's now other way, as to program the chipset with a ME.
Usually on ASUS boards it worked...-

by grimacelordHi folks,
I'm having a hard time extracting this Dell BIOS. I have a Dell Latitude E6530 that has BIOS corruption and I need to reflash with CH341A programmer. I have already taken dumps of both the 4MB and 8MB chips on the motherboard.
Service tag number for this model is: "JYDWYW1".
Link to latest BIOS for this Service Tag: https://dl.dell.com/FOLDER05371360M/1/E6530A22.exe
I have tried:
- Simply extracting with 7zip
- PFSExtractor
- Using "/writeromfile, /writehdrfile, and /writehexfile" commands
- Check Temp folder
