Lenovo Legion 5-17ACH6H bios

Hey, Lenovo 17ACH6H, serial number: PF39AQ7Z, Machine Model: 82JY0055PB, AMD Ryzen™ 7 5800H Processor and RTX 3070.

Black screen but keyboard lights up and powers on. When flashing the original Lenovo media (https://download.lenovo.com/consumer...s/gkcn65ww.exe) the laptop beeps and flashes however seems to fail and does not restart. I am unable to provide a dump as the laptop is bricked and I do not have the tools to do it another way. I have tried several bios's on this thread, including post 5, by putting the .bin on a USB however to no avail, but for some reason installing the bios update from the lenovo site and extracting the .bin from the .exe and putting it into a USB to boot with fn+r makes the laptop beep. Would appreciate any help, sorry if this is the wrong section as I am quite new here.

You must post the original bios even if it is broken because the original has DMI and Windown key.
You must have SPI programmer to do that.
For example: CH341A (this is the cheapest programmer)

Hey, i hope you're doing well.

The issue is, I updated the BIOS using the lenovo bios updater because the laptop booted no OS at all so I thought it was a corrupted bios, would this mess with the dump file as its no longer the original bios? Keep in mind its currently on a black screen hahaha. Sorry for the questions

How do you know it's completely broken ???
You must post the original bios even if it is broken because the original has DMI and Windown key

Hey thank you for your reply, I have purchased it and am waiting for it to arrive. I have no way of desoldering the BIOS chip however, so will the clip work fine?

Thank you, I have flashed it and it has resolved the screen problem. Issue is it keeps blue screening on windows installation media and gives errors on Linux/ubuntu. I have bought a new ssd and ram sticks, what could be the issue?

I don't know but bios is new.

The 3V and 5V are present, the battery charges correctly, the client was playing when the PC suddenly turned off, I did not find a short, when I connect the power supply to the GPU graphics card except immediately, 0.9 ohms but I do not think of a short because it is supplied with 0V7 on the coils, on the other hand the processor is not supplied with power on the coils and does not suffer at all

Thanks for sharing, but the result is the same, it turns on without display, it must have a hardware problem, no one has managed to find out what it is? Maybe reprogram the second chip?

Hello, I have a Legion 5 17ACH6H computer that was not posting. Suggestion by SMDFlea from Post # 19 to reflash the bios didn't work for me. Computer was still doing the same thing: keyboard lights up briefly, I can hear the fans begin to spin, nothing much after that.

What worked for me is the following: I extracted the bios file from a Legion 5 15ACH6H (smaller twin) I had available to me and this computer is booting just fine now. But it now carries the serial number from the other computer.

Can someone help me and fix the original bios? This way this computer carries the original serial number.
