I don't know if this is the right place to seek help, I am sleepless since yesterday, slept only for 2 hours.
my problem is I updated the bios of my laptop and now it doesn't have display on laptop's own screen but I get display on external monitor, I can't reset the bios because external monitor doesn't work until windows login screen, I tried everything, even Dell support couldn't help me, if I can see bios screen from external monitor I might try to reset but no...I need a modified bios that will reset the bios settings on this laptop or something like that...

Also, it freezes on the logo. Suspected video. When I opened the thermal element, I noticed thermal paste mixed with liquid metal, as if it was made at the factory, it is not a human hand, there are no traces of a person. Is it normal that thermal paste is mixed with liquid metal? I see this for the first time, maybe they mixed it up at the factory, the laptop has not been opened since the moment of purchase. The paste is heavily baked on the video chip.

Hello, I hope you're all well.
Could you help me with this bin? The file I received prevents the laptop from turning on. I tried the file from post #34 and it does turn on, but after inserting the service tag, it won't turn on again.
I would greatly appreciate your help.

by mizzedHi, Would anyone have a bios dump for a Dell Precision 5530 2in1 LA-F211P rev 1.0.
Following a failed bios, I had a new bios chip programmed with the the XPS 15 9575 2in1 LA-F211P rev 1.0, which the motherboard has identical model numbers, (having not being able to find a 5530 2in1 bios) however both in bios and os, the Vega graphics, and sound boards are not detected or installable, everything else worked fine. The only difference I can see is that although the motherboards are nearly identical is that they have slightly different CPU/GPU 8705g vs 8706g.
If anyone...-

by mikeybassHi, I hope some one has some advice for me. I searched the forums but didn't see anything relevant. I acquired two identical Dell 9010 Mid Tower computers from a business office upgrade (they were going to throw them out). Both of them have the same motherboard (00F82W). One of them works flawlessly. The other one had a corrupted BIOS. I tried flashing numerous main BIOS and EC files from the internet, but none of them worked. I decided to copy the main BIOS and EC from the working 9010 computer and successfully flashed the corrupted BIOS. This got the computer able to boot again and run norm...

by capoplaysHey everyone,
I recently bought a Dell G15 5515 with an AMD Ryzen 7 5800H and 3060 RTX. The BIOS chip on it was dead, and my hardware guy replaced the chip. After that, everything was working fine.
The BIOS is currently at version 1.22.1, and I wanted to update it. I downloaded the latest BIOS version from Dell Support using my ST: FQZMYJ3, but when I tried to run it, it says "unsupported system." I asked my tech guy what he did, and he said he took the chip from another board and flashed it onto mine.
When I check the BIOS using the F12 menu Flash...-

by Akhlz001Hi,
Could someone help trying to unlock this BIOS, seems that Dell have changed the layout of new Dell Pro 8FC8 bioses from checking HXD - 4000 bits do not need changing, only 2000. However after FF the section starting from '01000' upto 2000 bits and then soldering the chip back it seems that the microchip on the motherboard is recovering the bios back to original settings after first boot. Has anyone found a way to crack this extra layer of security Dell have implemented? Seems both HP and Dell have upped bios security to match Lenovo by implementing extra measures on a separate...-

by SathsulSo, i kinda spend significant ammount of the last couple of days trying to flash a new bios, and or unlocking the current bios password with little to no results.
The whole thing started with it being the 8fc8 bios, i found the tools to unlock that but i needed a bios dump. So i pursued that, im at a point where i dessoudered the chip, and succesfully soudered it to the ch341, dumped whatever was on it.
However, the tools supposed to unlock the 8fc8 say that there is no 8fc8 hex inside. And when i followed diffrent tutorials to just flash a new bios onto the chip i got stuck on the...-
