Lenovo IdeaPad U330p Read Bios than Bios Password Remove

    Hi,
I want to remove the Bios Password of my Lenovo IdeaPad U330p with the Lenovo autopatcher. I have the CH341A Black and I'm using NeoProgrammer. The Programmer has an LED that indecates when it reads or writes the Chip. When I try to Connect my Programmer to the Bios Chip (Winbond 25Q64FVSIQ) the LED lights up even though I didn't click on Detect botton in NeoProgrammer. If i click on Detect the LED still remains on and NeoProgrammer says "IC not responding".

Autopatcher doesn't work for IdeaPad but it can be done by modifying bios backup. Check if you put chipset in programmer in right position and pins make good contact to adapter or whatever you are using to read it.

The programmer works on everything Laptop I tried it on but not on this. The Cables are also connected properly but like I said the RUN LED constantly is on but only on this laptop. On the other laptops it stays off only when I do something in NeoProgrammer the LED Blinks or turns on for a Second.

what's the code from bios chipset? Maybe is 1,8V. Using clamps is not recommended.

well, it means clamps don't have good contact with chipset.

In some Cases The Clamp Is not Suitable, So Follow these Steps > Make Sure the Voltage Of the chip, Then Desolder and Resolder To the Programmer Directly. This Will fix connection Issues.

So I don't have an Soldering Iron is there any way to bypass it without that?

force the power off with the button for a few seconds and see if the LED on your programmer goes out.
                    try reading again after
The battery and the CMos cell have been disconnected?
