Hello, this machine starts up, displays logo and goes off and powers again and start at the logo and goes off again and so on, its cycling. If you try to enter the bios it also restarts, if you want to boot from cd or hd it also restarts. does anyone have a bios dump?

it looks more that the bios is corrupted, for example if you do cmos clear it says date and time error if you dont touch anything it will be there forever and never goes off but i will see and heat the boardComment

with the cmos date and time error, replace cmos battery only.
check if restarts go away...
if not
auto restarting pc comes with many possible issues.
-it could be a faulty or dirty ram pins/ram slot
-thermal issue

Ok the fault was from the LAN IC, a small chip labelt atheros close to the lan port, not everything is fine, i just removed it.Comment

Hi, I have a few of these & they came with a custom bios boot logo, no passwords etc.
2 x were brand new unused but with custom boot logo, 1 I installed Windows/ran updates then it bricked itself. 1 wouldn't get past the custom bios boot logo.
The third I loaded windows, took a backup of the bios chip, then tried to flash several different clean bios's via programmer which all caused it to not boot. I tried to reflash the original bios both using clip & desoldering but... -

I recently bought a Dell G15 5515 with an AMD Ryzen 7 5800H and 3060 RTX. The BIOS chip on it was dead, and my hardware guy replaced the chip. After that, everything was working fine.
The BIOS is currently at version 1.22.1, and I wanted to update it. I downloaded the latest BIOS version from Dell Support using my ST: FQZMYJ3, but when I tried to run it, it says "unsupported system." I asked my tech guy what he did, and he said he took the chip from another board and flashed it onto mine.

So, i kinda spend significant ammount of the last couple of days trying to flash a new bios, and or unlocking the current bios password with little to no results.
The whole thing started with it being the 8fc8 bios, i found the tools to unlock that but i needed a bios dump. So i pursued that, im at a point where i dessoudered the chip, and succesfully soudered it to the ch341, dumped whatever was on it.
However, the tools supposed to unlock the 8fc8 say that there is no 8fc8 hex inside. And when i followed diffrent tutorials to just flash a new bios onto the chip i got stuck on the... -
