Try to look for it with the board model instead. Same applies to schematics.
    i.e. - BA92-08082A, BA41-01581A, etc.

    Good luck.

The file was ok..strange. But I forgot to make, on the MB, the location of pin 1

Any pointers to locate pin 1 or the schematic? Searching with the model number brings up nothing.

Have you make a backup of the old bios?

I need to do a reball anyway but would like to know where pin 1 is located.

I have download bios file from Samsung support, (BIOSUpdate.exe) and can`t extract any bin, rom, fd etc.
How do you extract the dump file?

Just cook it! It's already broken.

Yes, I have tried 7zip, and let me see the files inside, but the largest one, is less than 1,3 Mbytes.
(I have attached a screen capture of 7zip)

Never did. I got it off the actual bios chip.

well its easy to know wich is pin \1 put your multimeter on continuity , and chek all pins to ground , the ones that will BIP(make noise) is pin 4 GND ... therefore will be easy finding pin 1 :P

pin 1 its always mark with dot or line aside the chip.

usually they make a white square around the chip and near the first pin they make the line a little bigger!(white line)

                                          Hello everyone,

I’m currently working on a dead MSI GP75 Leopard (MS-17E71) motherboard (i7 CPU, NVIDIA GPU) with a no display/no backlight issue initially. After extensive investigation, I’m at a critical stage involving EC firmware, BIOS/ME region interaction, and possible deep corruption. I'm seeking advanced insight from anyone with experience in EC/BIOS sync issues or PCH-level behavior. Here’s a full breakdown:
                                          🧩 Initial Issue
                                          • Board powers on (fans spin, keyboard lights up and can be adjusted, caps lock led lights), but no display or backlight
                                          • External display (HDMI) shows
                                          ...

I need a BIOS dump for the Samsung S49CG934SU monitor
                                          by Habble7
The Samsung S49CG934SU monitor does not power on - no LED indicator activity and no response to power button. However, when 21V power is connected, it immediately draws 0.8A of current with no display output. The motherboard processor gets warm, and there is continuous reading activity from the W25Q128BV BIOS chip.

                                          Suspected Cause:
I suspect the BIOS may have been corrupted during a power interruption while updating the firmware. The official website provides firmware updates, but they can only be installed via USB flash drive.

                                          Troubleshooting Attempts:
                                          ...

Samsung Galaxy Tabpro S BIOS and Micom Version doesn't match
                                          by TJ65
                                          Hello everyone,
i made out of two broken Samsung Galaxy Tabpro S one that works partially.
The one Mainboard had a broken screen output but working hdmi (usb c adapter) output and the other didnt start at all.
I switch the bios chips and now the tablet starts but very very slow and it takes some trys to get it starting.
The problem is, that the micom Version doesn't match with the bios version, see picture.
How can i update the Micom Version? The Samsung bios update wont work.
With https://github.com/tavinus/SamsungBIOSTools i could extract the newest bios update...
