Re: dell inspiron 1545 bios password
try this, abblwvr (lower case)
press enter, or sometimes hold down control then press enter
good luck
as for using generator, all you had to do was paste or type your code into it "7JTHBH1-595B" (always upper case) then click on get password,

I've tried the tool online as well as downloaded binary, but it doesn't work for me.
I even tried compiling it myself on lubuntu, but that actually gives me a different output for my HDD string.
Your tool gives me: sLIwFXElxR69mCQN online as well as in windows executable
My compiled dell.c gives me: plpyukbs
I've tried using external keyboard and enter with ctrl pressed, etc. My keyboards are QWERTY.
My details:
Dell Latitude E6420
BIOS A03
Service Tag: C49P5Q1
Express Service Code: 26379543097
HDD: #X41A41K3578-2A7B
Please someone advise me what I can do to save this hdd. Thank you!
and got this, x1jlIGv7ZWiCED90
worth a try because some bios take 11 from left and some take 11 from right
good luck
Codes need to be entered on a Qwerty keyboard
they also are Case sensitive, so enter as seen
sometimes pressing enter is enough, but other times you need to hold down control and then press enter, and then again sometimes you need to hold down control then press enter twice, hope that helpsComment

by zeniusHello, I have an old Dell G3 3579 (ST: 2WQ7LP2-8FC8) with a newer 8FC8 BIOS password. I have successfully attached to the flash chip (W25Q128JVSQ) on the motherboard with a CH341A programmer and made several modifications using Intel FIT (e.g., allow software SPI write) without bricking. I was also able to boot to a modified GRUB shell where I attempted to edit many BIOS security related options like BIOS Guard/Lock, Flash Signature Override, ME FW Image Re-Flash, etc.
Unfortunately, some of these modifications like to Intel BIOS Guard failed because it is fused into the PCH. Also,...-

by mikeybassHi, I hope some one has some advice for me. I searched the forums but didn't see anything relevant. I acquired two identical Dell 9010 Mid Tower computers from a business office upgrade (they were going to throw them out). Both of them have the same motherboard (00F82W). One of them works flawlessly. The other one had a corrupted BIOS. I tried flashing numerous main BIOS and EC files from the internet, but none of them worked. I decided to copy the main BIOS and EC from the working 9010 computer and successfully flashed the corrupted BIOS. This got the computer able to boot again and run norm...

The Dell Inspiron 3480 I own (the all in one, not the laptop) is not wanting to turn on at all. It goes right to a dell logo, but it stays there forever with no other information on the screen. Holding the automatic Bios repair key combo (ctrl+esc) that should let it read a recovery file off a USB drive gets stuck on a black screen and does nothing. No amount of resetting anything so far has worked, and Dell's own support downloads have not really helped. Ive tried another BIN file I found online using my CH341A, and this got me slightly more, that time it displayed a loading bar that never moved...
