Re: Dell latitude e6410 bios password
I have a Latitude E6410 that I got from a university surplus that has an administrator password on it. I contacted Dell and after about 6 messages finally got a password from them. It didn't work. It wasn't even in the same format as all the other passwords I've seen here or on other sites. I think the guy didn't give me a correct password.
The service tag is: 1NTCRM1-1F5A
BIOS version: A09
Thank youComment

Re: Dell latitude e6410 bios password
@hezareh2000, please post result.
(Latitude E6410, CK93TM1-1F5A)
Please read the instructions CAREFULLY.
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Type the 16-character password. For UPPERCASE characters use SHIFT key. Take your time while typing password, my suggestion is to use NATO Phonetic guide under password (a-alpha, B-BRAVO, C-CHARLIE...).
- Once you are done typing password, hold down left CTRL key and press ENTER key *twice* (CTRL-ENTER-ENTER).
(Password is for QWERTY keyboard layout).
NOTE: Sometimes if using master password within Setup/BIOS, just pressing ENTER after typing password will do.

Re: Dell latitude e6410 bios password
Anyone have a solution for the algorithms for -1F5A BIOS return keys? I've tried exporting the .hdr from the bios, tried Pyton 2.7 and 3.74, I have a stack of the E6410 and they are all locked. (purchased from auction in person). I've tried external keyboards, Dogbert's site, no luck. i.e.: BZNRMM1-1F5A Thanks!Comment

by jhanraHi there masters, recently i got a dell 5400 chromebook and wanted to install windows, i searched the internet and i found out other people also wanting a UEFI bios for this model, i searched there is a R/W legacy, but there are bugs like keyboard/trackpad not working, and hard to install.
so i decided to try to port one, this bios is based on dell 5400 windows version, i am testing this bios for a week now an found only a little to no bug at all in windows 10, or only a minor issue
in windows 11 sound driver compatibility, but overall its ok, for me i can deal with it, 😅😅😅...-

by anlsmithI am trying to remove the BIOS password for a Dell Latitude 5430 motherboard LA-L591P. So far I think that I have located the BIOS chip but NeoProgrammer says that is detects 3 chips. I have attached the dump from each one. Are any of these the BIOS file? Service Tag: 1DMC1T3. If nyone knows the exact location of the bios chip as well I would greatly appreciate it...

by TripTopHi
i have dell latitude E7270 with following symptoms:
- takes long time to restart.
- sometimes powers on and then off
- sometimes while working it just dies,
From googling online bios clean could possible resolve this?
i was able to save bios and was going to try bios clean myself but get an below error when i drop it in ME analyzer.(unsure whether this sometimes occurs or could be due to bad/corrupt bios)
As ME analyzer gave me an error i just decided to write bios with a cleaned bios from E7270 bios post.
I reinstall...-

by iwuHello,
I am not experienced in electronics, but I really want to check if my idea is possible.
I have motherboard replaced from Dell Latitude 5520 (11th gen on i5 CPU).
BIOS/UEFI access on that MB/PC is blocked by password which I want to get it know - even if I need some bruteforcing or stupid manual activities.
There was no computrace activated.
I was happy when I saw many posts about removing BIOS password based on .bin file dummps. I wanted to go little further - get to know the password from the dump.
