Re: Dell latitude e6410 bios password

I bought a laptop from someone over craiglist and I need a password for my Dell Latitude E4310 BIOS which is locked.

My Express Service Code is 33489905689 and my Service Tag is FDV0WM1

The Master Passcode given by Dell to the previous owner is: vr6ezor56AMKkL9r Maybe he wrote it wrong? I also tried some of those password generators but no luck so far.

      Thanks!

A couple of things you should know when entering passwords
Passwords are case sensitive, so enter as seen
Hold down control key then press enter, (sometimes you need to press enter twice)
Passwords need to be entered on a qwerty keyboard
Here is a link to the Qwerty Keyboard Generator, https://bios-pw.org/

your service tag gives out these passwords
        Try these:
        p8p3bzsb
        rtt4v2x8
        0XoPihlw56hBCgol

If your service tag is correct, then one of these should work, because your laptop is about 2010 so the generator will work for this age laptop
Are you sure that its a "0" and not a "O" etc
        hope this might help you
BTW all S/tags that are entered into Generator must be upper case, and all P/words entered to laptop are case sensitive

I'd like some help recovering my System Password, I already have access to the BIOS itself using the Finger Print Reader, but I can't change the system password because I forgot.

Hoping somebody can help me out with a used laptop:

                                          Dell E6410
                                          System Number: 2PMKZN1-1F5A

Previous owner has disabled all boot options and locked BIOS so I have no way to downgrade.

                                          Thank you so much.

Hi there masters, recently i got a dell 5400 chromebook and wanted to install windows, i searched the internet and i found out other people also wanting a UEFI bios for this model, i searched there is a R/W legacy, but there are bugs like keyboard/trackpad not working, and hard to install.

so i decided to try to port one, this bios is based on dell 5400 windows version, i am testing this bios for a week now an found only a little to no bug at all in windows 10, or only a minor issue
in windows 11 sound driver compatibility, but overall its ok, for me i can deal with it, 😅😅😅...

I am trying to remove the BIOS password for a Dell Latitude 5430 motherboard LA-L591P. So far I think that I have located the BIOS chip but NeoProgrammer says that is detects 3 chips. I have attached the dump from each one. Are any of these the BIOS file? Service Tag: 1DMC1T3. If nyone knows the exact location of the bios chip as well I would greatly appreciate it...

                                            Hi

i have dell latitude E7270 with following symptoms:
                                            - takes long time to restart.
                                            - sometimes powers on and then off
                                            - sometimes while working it just dies,

From googling online bios clean could possible resolve this?

i was able to save bios and was going to try bios clean myself but get an below error when i drop it in ME analyzer.(unsure whether this sometimes occurs or could be due to bad/corrupt bios)

As ME analyzer gave me an error i just decided to write bios with a cleaned bios from E7270 bios post.
                                            I reinstall...

Dell Latitude 5520 - dump bios to obtain password
                                            by iwu
                                            Hello,

I am not experienced in electronics, but I really want to check if my idea is possible.

I have motherboard replaced from Dell Latitude 5520 (11th gen on i5 CPU).
BIOS/UEFI access on that MB/PC is blocked by password which I want to get it know - even if I need some bruteforcing or stupid manual activities.
                                            There was no computrace activated.

I was happy when I saw many posts about removing BIOS password based on .bin file dummps. I wanted to go little further - get to know the password from the dump.

                                            1. I do not know how thebios...
