I bought a Dell E6420 from an eCycler and need the BIOS unlock password
The Service tag is 5FLMZQ1-1D3B. The Wireless is disabled and I need to enable it.
I think you will find it works on the E6400.
I have the 2A7B generator but can't get it to work on E6410's.
Anyone else had this problem?
@jerry12x
It should work on any 2A7B , I was wondering if updating the bios causes this on some models,
has your bios been updated by any chance???
the way over it now is to reprogram the bios to clear your password
BTW have you held down Control key and pressed enter (once or sometimes twice in some instances) when entering password

I break fix laptops.
I was ok with 2A7B on previous Dell's but the 6410 with it's two chip BIOS is just different.
It has me beat.
I have about 20 of them.
I have a e6430 and need the bios password. I've had the laptop for a few years (I purchased it on Craiglist) and could not verify ownership. Dell cannot give me the password without the owner's credentials and the person I got it from never responded. The only provided me with the HD password.
I'd really like to add an SSD so if someone could help me get the password to the bios that would be great.

To the two above.
Your only option are the pay sites.
The people that have Dogbert's generator are cashing in.
Sadly the only way Dogbert could piss them off is by giving it to everyone so the pay sites make nothing.
can somebody help me with dell latitude E4310 bios code 9VRWZQ1 - 2A7B thanks
hello nikosystem
try this, nyZvj05RCe0A0X09
password needs to be entered on a Qwerty keyboard,
they are case sensitive, so enter as seen
then press enter, or sometimes you need to hold down control then press enter, (sometimes you need to press enter twice)
not sure if this will work with your model thou, you will just have to give it a try, good luck
